Well I will take advance math classes but not as advance as some of the other people at the high school also if you dont take like geometry your freshman year but someone does does it hurt your rank even if you make like a 98 but they make like a 70?

I'm not trying to discourage you, but to get into an Air Force Academy, or any other Academy, your grades, your athletics, your everything have to be better than top notch.
You could be a 4.0 student throughout high school, but if you don't have any activities, not one academy will take you. Its the same vise versa.
If you are just an average student, who gets average grades, you better do a lot better, because not one academy will even look at you. The military doesn't want average people as their future leaders, they want born ready and motivated people.
So, don't don't only work on math, or only on science. Work on everything. Get on a team or two. Don't get in any trouble along the way. If your school has JROTC, get in it, if you're not already.
You are selling yourself to that academy, and they don't want anything less than the best.

yes, it will hurt your rank. weighted scores.. certain classes are weighted as harder than others. so even if you get a 98 on basic Math, the kid with the 70 in Geometry will be rated higher than you, because his coursework was harder.
you ABSOLUTELY need ALL of the higher Maths to get into any of the Service Academies. AP or Honors courses are better than regular courses, too.

once your in your in...and the level math should be the least of your problems... air force academy is very hard to get into... good luck to you.... ohh and re-think the "millitary officer" it's not like the movies... there bad people... I don't like the whole idea of them...
