I would ask them to specify. "The current theory" - both Intelligent Design and Evolution are current theories. The question needs to have a definite 'right' answer - and it is debatable which theory explains human origin the best (what Christians tend to think vs. what non-Christians tend to think - with no 'proof' - both are only theories. One with God. One without God).
However, if they specified, "the current scientific theory" then I would go with A, obviously. Or "the most recent widely believed theory" then the answer would be A.
If they didn't specify exactly what the Q meant I would have to choose which answer A or D I thought they were refering too. I really wouldn't know. I would maybe go with 'A'
Going with A would not go against my beliefs. The question is not about my beliefs. Its about fact - "which theory is the best" A or D, which no-one knows (although some arrogantly presume). "Best" would definitely need to be defined. Best scientifically? Best in that its 'nice' because there is heaven and a loving God? And how to decide which reasons/reasoning count as 'best'??
Basically, whatever Q they asked I would answer based on what is most widely understood/believed (not my personal beliefs) because that's what they want to know. And of course, what I personally believe is not necessarily right. And I want the million dollars, thank you
EDIT: I think that both A and D are 'current theories' (unless it was explained to me specifically what is meant by 'current theory'!) - because A and D are both theories commonly believed today (therefore they are 'current'), and nothing has proved either theory necessarily wrong (therefore they are 'possibly true')

Without a doubt, I would say D because humans do exist by intelligent design, GOD's. Money does not phase me. There have been times in my life when I have had money(without true knowledge of God) and then there have been times when I didn't. I have learned that whether money or no, it doesn't make any difference if you don't have true PEACE. God is the only ONE who can give true peace. If you have all the money in the world but you don't have peace, what good is it. And anyway, God has control more riches than we mere humans can ever understand or comphend. May God Bless U.

Sorry, your question is faulty.
You wanted us to answer the question: the current theory that best explains....." I could honestly answer A because it is a theory and it is current.
The question did not ask what I believe...it asks about THEORY. Intelligent Design isn't a theory.
A problem with your semantics to be sure, but still valid.

I'm not Christian, but if I happened to be Christian, I'd pick A, since that's what they want. But I wouldn't be able to lie to myself. D is the only true answer for Christians...and possibly for everybody. I mean, though I'm not Christian, I still believe in Creationism, though deism would make a bit more sense. After all, something must've developed the Big Bang. It didn't just...happen. A deity is the only answer. Maybe not the God in the Bible (there's too many contradictions for me to believe that, no religious offense to Christians intended), but something like God.

Your "alternatives" introduce a false dilemma. It's as simple as that. The only REAL answer to any question about anything that transcends the extremely limited and narrow-scoped view of this material world is:
WE DON'T KNOW.
(We *wish* we did, but we don't. Some are even convinced we/they do - but they/we still don't.)
There.
(Oh, and you can keep the money. I am rich enough, rich beyond belief. You, on the other hand, sound really needy. I do hope you find your "million dollars"... somewhere.)

Intelligent design takes less faith to believe in.
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." Matthew 6:24 & Luke 16:13

They'd probably choose E) creationism. But since that's not a choice they might go with A simply because you put the THEORY of evolution.
Not all Christians are dead set on the creation thing though. And outside of the Bible Belt in the south no one considers intelligent design a plausible theory.

I'm guessing that's a game where the prize is a million dollars.
I would definitely choose D. A million dollars could never buy the things God has for his children or the benefits and the joy that I have from serving him. Pleasing God means more to me than any amount of money.

There is one flaw with your question. If you do win you won't be a millionaire because after taxes you'll probably only take home about 600,000, and thats not enough of an incentive to piss god off.

Creation & Evolution, and both are still functioning.
Any further answers to this question would break an important code that I follow.
"Give not that which is Holy unto dogs, neither cast ye your pearls unto swine."
Case Closed
