it's reaaaaaaaaally simple,
the best time to exercise is when YOU feel most energetic and/or have the time to.
we are all different, some are morning people and others don't start functioning till well into the afternoon. when do you feel at your best?
also, what is you're work schedule like? do you do shift work, full time, part time, 9-5? exercise whenever you can fit it in. try first thing in the morning or maybe during your lunch break. you can do it straight after work or leave it a little later.
so, have a look at your lifestyle and personal preferences and go from there.
good luck buddy, enjoy

The best time is when you can afford to do it. I don't mean this in a negative way. True morning exercise is by far most effective for getting results. Not everyone is a morning person. Afternoon or evening workouts are just as good because if you are like most people you tend to work most of the day or go to school so its great to go and relieve some of that stress. In the morning specially if you workout on a empty stomach you are tapping into your fat stores more quickly. That's when gluconeogensis takes place which means your body starts mobilizing fatty acid from the adipose tissue to increase energy and glucose levels to help supply energy during your workout. Good Luck.

Cardio is best done in the morning before eating, especially if you're trying to lose weight. This jumpstarts your metabolism... not only by excercising, but just by getting in the practice of excercising early in the AM you'll find you wake easier and with more energy.
More high impact aerobics and weightlifting should be done in the afternoon or evening, whenever it is you find you have the most energy. This way you're getting to work your muscles to the fullest extent.

The best time is the time that works best in your day and with your own internal clock. If you are not a morning person you wont get up to workout at 5am, and likewise, if you have low energy in the afternoon, this is not your optimal time either. Workout when it works best in you schedule and with your body, there is no universal "best time to exercise".
Good luck!

it depends on the individual person. most of the time after working out it will take awhile to wind down and be able to fall asleep. at the same time once that adrenaline wears off you may crash. so work out on a day off and see what happens to you after you work out. how long does it take the 'crash' to happen? how long does the energy last afterward? do you crash or just get not as energized? there are so many things to take into consideration. you should find when is the best time for you to work out. obviously if you crash after a few hours you don't want to go work out in the morning before you go to work.

In the morning. It gets your metabolism revved up for the remainder of the day, and you'll burn even more calories as the day goes on.

There may be a best time for you and it is very likely that it is different from the best time of someone else. Your body has unique rythms so try different times and see what makes you feel your best and go with it.

I heard from somewhere that running in the morning helps jump start your metabolism for the day. Other than that, it really makes no difference when you exercise. It's always healthy!

Morning, Noon or Anytime is a great time to workout since you are getting some exercise in your daily routine. I don't recommend working out "too" late since it can interfere with your sleep or at least make it harder for you to go to sleep
