Food. People respond better to food. (Fish, Bread, Communion, Last Supper, all revolved around food) Just my thinking I suppose. Try a neighborhood bbq or Pot Luck of a sort.

Some things my church does is:
Events- church wide barbeque's, Fall Festivals
Every Tuesday night is church visitation night were we visit all those who have visited and those that haven't been in awhile.
The greatest things is class fellowships. Every month each Sunday school class gets together for a fellowship. The object is that people bring there friends. There are no Bible Studies , just fellowship with others that are the same age. We do this from Youth all the way to Senior Adults.

I attended a very intense Childrens revival that was handled like a VBS. They had activities even in the parking lot. Have food games and everything. Then find a speaker that can teach a simple convicting sermon and watch those kids give there hearts to God. They will get there families in church because of their humbling impact

I think if you can get kids to attend or even teens it is a great way to get their parents to come with them. Advertise a VBs for like a month prior to it. have a van or bus to pick up the kids and have some sort off singing with the kids on the last day set it for a tiime when parents can attend when they see how much their kids love this church they will consider going themselves

To teach biblical truths rather than taking scripture out of context. Teach the whole bible from Genesis to Revelation, that's why when you buy a bible, it consists the OT. Don't pick and choose what should be taught, start from the very beginning! The OT are God's words too!

I like the free money..
Do things in the neighborhood to help people out..Help older folks, clean the streets, cut people's lawn, have a free bread give away program..House to house calling..

But every neighborhood is different and you need to hear from God about your tactic. there.

Make the words of the Bible live. It is a Gospel for the living. I know this sounds corny, but it has to have that oomph, I wonder whats next thing, or else it's just flat.

Joey, If you do all of the above and no one comes, then you know you are at the end of the days. Remember, only Noah's kin got on the ark.

If you want them to stay home and not contribute to the church's needs, teach "once saved always saved"--you can't loose salvation ever--why go to church.

Yes, and we are at the end of the days, and God says then (now) His Bible code can be revealed. www.revelado.org/revealed.htm
