I find that some religious folk tend to answer questions that have nothing to do with Jesus or religion by throwing their words of worship into answers. I've seen many questions regarding "Who, among those you have met, do you feel closest to/love most/trust innately?" So many of the answers are "Jesus", and I find that the people who purposely ignore the intention of the question ("Someone you have MET") are often the most extreme religiously.

I believe that extremists are so insecure in their beliefs they have to repeatedly, loudly, and unreasonably state their "love" of God/Jesus over & over.

As a follow-up to my question, let's try it again: Who in your life do you love and trust most, that you've actually MET? (Living or dead).

My sister who has seen me though the hardest times in my life.
And a Russian man who works in my office and rides part way home with me after work some days. He's well read, intelligent and always gives me good advice from an unbiased viewpoint.

The loudest folks are and have always been the most insecure among us. This is the nature of the human beast. That won't be changing anytime soon.
As far as trust goes, I'm reminded of a BB King song that goes something like this "Don't nobody love me but my mama, and sometimes I think she's jiving me too".

always the case. Talking over a person or speaking loudly doesn't make one right, or even encourage discussion. It's ridiculous. Examples abound.... i.e. Rosie, and most progressives that I've met. In a debate on an interpersonal level, no one wins. To truly get your point across requires two people who are seeking truth. We've got two ears and one mouth, I wish people would realize that there is a reason for this fact.. lol.

A person convinced against their will, is of the same opinion still.

My Mom
As to the rest of your question do you seriously think that everyone reads the entire question. I find myself skimming and then going back and changing my entire answer when I go back and reread the question. It's the people who are offended and defensive about questions that truly challenge them that are insecure in their faith. I have no problem saying that I don't know all the answers. Anyone who follows a God and know all the answers has a God that is too small for me.

I would like to know how is the answer going to benefit you? just curious. and how do you know that these people haven't met God spiritually. I love Him and i trust Him the most and i am not a shame to say so.It is better to put your trust in God than your confidence in man.

It seems that those of you who are always looking for an arguement are insecure. What you believe does not bother me no matter how bad it is effecting society overall. Would it be horrible if people actually trusted Jesus? If you are so secure, why do you care?
