My toggle switch on my epiphone g-310 sg is having trouble selecting the bridge pickup. How do I fix it?

Basically, when I have it set to the rythm pickup, it works fine, when I swith it to both, I get the rythm pickup normally, and the treble at 10 volume is barely noticable. When I switch to the treble, I get no sound, or it sounds like it's lower than 1 when it's on 10. This is remedied (ocasionally,) by rapidly flicking the toggle switch (with plenty of crackling involved) until it eventually cuts in in a rather crude sounding manner. I really don't feel like paying for having this fixed when I just got the guitar a week ago, and I'm flat broke. Any help?

Try spraying some control / contact cleaner into the slot, and rapidly flicking the switch. Radio Shack sells this, works well and is relatively inexpensive. Sounds to me like dirty switch contacts, and this should fix it.
