Passport with a Visa

If you are entering the US by air you need a passport. If you are entering by land (car, on foot, train, etc.) you only need valid government issued photo ID showing your DOB and address. This is to prove your citizenship. It's up to the Immigration officer to make the decision so I suggest you have more than one acceptable ID. i.e. driver's license, health card, social insurance/social security card, etc. Offically you will need a passport as of 2008, but that is under review and will likely be changed or amended.

Apperently you dont need any documentation if you enter on the southern border. You just walk across and make some fake documents.

Just kidding, you need a passport and a Visa if you are a decent law-abiding person. Unfortunately, we put roadblocks in front of decent, law abiding people and do almost nothing to stop those who would ignore our laws.

Good luck with your travels brother. If you decide to visit, I hope it is a pleasant one.

A pair of NIke shoes, a flash light and a taser gun (just in case you come across some of the haters in this category).

Just kidding, but it wouldn't hurt to keep them in your trunk just in case one of these haters happens to work at the border........................Make sure you got a form of id and a passport.........
