depends on where in ny you will be and where you are from. The men in manhattan are very good looking but they are stand offish, not friendly..expect women to approach them.. Not looking for a relationship.. Tend to think they are something because they are paying $4,000 a month for a studio apartment.,, superficial- so are the women too..
Hard to meet someone great whos looing for a relationship instead of a fun fling.
