Are hotels set up for 110 volt or 220 like Europe? Also, what is the weather like in the first weeks of October? (sorry, I don't know what month that will be on the Jewish calendar.)

Bring a Universal adapter. Electricity runs on different voltage. I ruined my dryer, even using the adapter.
Prepare for warm weather during October.

Israel is on 220 like Europe (electrical goods from England on 224 will still work ok) but the plugs in Israel are different.
They are not fused, but you can buy travel adapters.

Regarding the month of October - you're not going to believe this but October in Israel is called . . . . . October!

The Hebrew dates are used only for religious purposes.

My wife and I have been going to Israel twice a year since 1974. (that makes 66 times). We always go in the middle of April and the middle of October. The weather at those times is fine - not too hot, not too cold.

Hotels are like Europe
Weather will me mild to warm, approx 75F. Maybe a little bit colder in Jerusalem as its built on hilltops
The western calendar is much more widely used in Israel than the Jewish one so don't worry about not knowing it.

It's like in Europe. If you are from the USA, bring an adaptor.

The weather in the first weeks of october is mild, typically around 20C/68F, but it gets quite a bit cooler as you head into november.

Most likely hotels and other places are on 220v ac. And the weather in October should be delightful, if it's anything close to the weather in Lebanon.
