Depending on your beliefs God does not stand for or against evil. His greatest gift was "free will". Each person knows the difference between right and wrong. There are man made laws and religious laws that define what is right and wrong. The individual makes the choice. God did not create evil man did and now man has the choice either to give in to the evil or destroy it. Each person has the choice to believe or not to believe. To start a fight or walk away. It is all a matter of choice. Now why do we make the choices we do that is a whole other subject. That is my opinion.

Oh, love, as soon as these people have to explain the truth they run and hide behind belittlement and self-aggrandizing. They think it is God or Jesus they are 'sticking up for' but I couldn't imagine either one needs to be defended. They are like bullies in the playground. Sometimes only expulsion will get the point across, but even then it is rare.
God has stoned infants, murdered all of the firstborns in Egypt, married women off to their rapists, allowed for death and destruction and extreme terrorist activity, but for the 'believers' to admit this would mean they'd have to lose their "life insurance". And for that they are willing to allow these atrocities to happen.

None of us would be here now if He weren't taking a stand. A child's faith is stronger, more trusting than an adults. Besides, a child gets their view of God first from their parents or guardian.
