I have a 200 amp 3 phase service. I am using mostly 1 phase circuits and equipment but as i add up the amps used it is coming up around 195 ( way to tight ). Since Im using mostly 1 phase, Is there any way to get some extra amps without the expense of eather adding a second service or changing the existing service to a biger one? Can I run a second box directly off the existing meter or would my existing meter be maxed at 200 amps? Any sugestions welcome.....

Don't try it. The meter as you rightly guess has a max current capability, it does not care how you draw that current.
