When my sister drinks and it's just us two she hits on me, what's up with that?

Actually, I think the two of you need to discuss this when you are both sober, and alone.
Alcohol tends to lower inhibitions. If people have a desire they are repressing, they are much more likely to act on that desire when intoxicated.

Its not the alcohol. Just like its not guns that kill people. People kill people.
It the person behind the alcohol. Your sister is most likely just letting her guard down and playing with you.
This could be a problem if she is someone that losses all control under the influence.
If this is the case you should talk to her and fast.
Could you imagine if she got drunk with someone other than her brother. This situation could turn bad real fast.
You should talk with her and keep a close eye on her drinking.

Among the various things alcohol does is makes you lose your inhibitions. You're more likely to do things you wouldn't normally.
She's probably joking with you and she's more likely to do it because the alcohol causes her brain to remove the mental blocks that prevent her from doing such things.
I have a big burly guy friend who is a pro football player. Get him drunk and woo boy, he turns into a giant fuzzy teddy bear who completes every sentence with "I love you" and "You're awesome." He doesn't normally do this sort of thing, usually he reponds to things with, "Yeah" and "Is that right?"

Alcohol makes you loose not flirty. When you drink you do you want to do when you are sober. Maybe she is secretyl attracted to you.

you see what it really is is that people (all people) have had a sick lil idea in their head even if they checked themselves to themselves immediately, and when the alcohol comes out its lets down your inhibitions and those who really do not check themselves when they have had the crazy thoughts actually acted on it. its crazy but that's what it is, some folks just plain nuts

Uh THAT is not normal. I drink with family members and not one of them has ever hit on me, and Its not like I'm ugly.
