I grew up with people who would probably be considered rednecks and I did not find them hateful. The people I associate with would not use the Bible for hate and neither would I. Many of my friends are different than myself. I have the privilege of attending a university known for its diversity. I know people from Korea, Africa, Romania, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Egypt and all over the US. I probably know people from more areas but just have not had the opportunity to ask them where they are from. The college I attend is Christian and all are welcome.
How I know I am a redneck:
I attended my cousins wedding and the groom's side (the bride was my cousin) was popping beer tabs during the ceremony which was held in a fire house. The fire house was rented as a hall.

1 - I am a redneck because I am from Texas.
2 - It is hard not to dislike someone that is different than yourself, that is human nature. (But I am open minded and I try to give everyone a chance to explain a situation)
3 - I do not use the Bible for hate. But I know plenty of people that do and for those people, I will because that is the only way they know.

I'm not a redneck, and I don't use the Bible for hate. We are not to hate anyone. Love thy neighbor as thyself. We are to have a hate for sin, not the sinner.

Because my neck burns red in the sun... I love all people and I use the bible for love. I am a little bit country but I live in a mostly black community so I talk more of the black type southern. I love my country music though.

Don't hate. Hate is from satan and Love is from God. No , the Bible is to be used to learn the word of God. But un-fortunately many hate the word of God and the Holy Bible. They don't understand what it means and tend to hate. So sad and too bad. satan is on a rampage.
