I ask this because it seems to me that believers, no matter what the belief, all seem to share similar facial expressions. They range from the relaxed and comfortable expressions of the uneducated believers to the determined and intense expressions of the educated believers who have more knowledge to constantly deny in order to maintain the equilibrium of their beliefs. There’s also the infamous expression of the fanatical zealot the existence of whom would make software of this nature quite beneficial.

I think that is a bit far-fetched. People have thousands of facial expressions, and they vary according to the circumstances, moods, age, etc. I find it hard to believe that "Believers" have any different facial expressions from non-believers.

I have read, however, that this one expert in facial expressions was very interested in the Dalai Lama's expressions, because he seemed to show true altruism. And he would show intense feelings in his face at the news of someone suffering, and yet he was able to return to a state of equanimity quicker than some. It is years of meditation that has made the difference I am sure. I don't think it has anything to do with religious beliefs, but more to do with attitudes and emotions.

Everyone has emotions of anger, defensiveness, comfort, equilibrium, etc, whether or not they are a believer.

In one word... No.

Seems like a bit of a silly question actually. I see from what you're saying that you're just being obnoxious about Christians. I wasn't even going to respond until I read some of the answers that were given.. and realized that there are so many other people that have such ridiculous views about Christians..

Hopefully people will come to realize that people have a right to believe what they believe.. I can believe in God.. Other people can believe whatever they want.. It's up to them! I'm not going to pick on them because they don't believe what I do...

I just get really confused as to why people seem to want to get rid of Christians.. What exactly is the reason for that? Don't we all deserve the same as each other? Respect?

Could it also be used to spot the smug "I already know everything" expression of atheists? How about the distracted expression of a scientist who just realized he bases all his beliefs on theories...could it find him too?

None of my questions are real and they don't need answering. Neither do yours. Go find some other pond to troll in please.

Glad you have it all figured out.

It must make your life much simpler - it eliminates actually engaging in dialog with the person to see if they are 'believers.' Now you can go straight into verbal abuse.

An open mind is a dangerous thing - you better keep yours closed and locked.
