Your mom should press charges. I'll bet you fourteen hundred dollars that this isn't the first time your sister put the screws to your mom. On her birthday too! Does she have a drug problem?

As hard as it may be to do, your sister needs to learn a very valuable lesson! Especially when it comes to family! Your mother should press charges! That girl is lower than a snake for stealing from her own Mom! And what is your mom supposed to do now? Live in the street with nothing while your sister gets her sick kicks on drugs? If i were her mother that girl would have an a-- kicking coming first and then I'd let them throw her but in jail! Sounds to me like your sister could use some serious help, and maybe by her Mom throwing her in jail , that might wake her up and get her on the right path to getting some real help! You just need to let your Mom do what she's gotta do. It sounds to me like she's got a good head on her shoulders.

Sorry..but your sister is a grown woman and she should not be getting in your mother's purse in the first place. Even if the money was out of her own mother's purse it is still stealing and if she is let off the hook she will just do it again and again. Also if she is stealing from her own mother she could steal from others. Yes..your mother should press charges. That way maybe your sister will learn that she can not get by with such behavior. If she gets by with it and continues stealing and steals from other people chances are she will end up in jail anyway. This way if you mother is the only one she has stolen from and has to pay for the crime she will think twice before doing it to anyone let alone your mother.

You better hope your sister can get 1400.00 or your mother should press charges. Have your mother calm down and give your sister (her daughter) a day or two to get the stolen funds. Your mother may change her mind after a day or two about pressing charges.

Your mother should not keep that kind of money in her purse to begin with, especially if she knows her daughter is a thief.

Natural Mother - I desired to mother or father my son, there used to be little need for him to be followed as I used to be in a problem in which I would have enough money to elevate him (running) however despite the fact that I hadn't I might were eligible for advantages and as we've the NHS I do not need needed to fear approximately clinical or dental healing as each are loose. The nice strategy to describe it's an invisible amputation and it's intestine wrenching. I have suffered with melancholy, been suicidal, self harmed, been indignant, hated myself, blamed myself felt ashamed. It took reunion to paintings via all of the feelings however I nonetheless have my dangerous days and it's going to continuously be a lifestyles sentence.

She should definitely press charges!! If your sister is allowed to get away with this, she will just escalate in the crimes she commits. You are never helping someone by enabling them in doing wrong. It would be interesting to know what your sister needed that much money for.

If the daughter still lives at home: make her move out.
Change the locks. Let her know she is not welcome until she gives the money back and apologizes.
Write her out of the Will.
A little "tough love" could do a lot of good. Maybe she SHOULD press charges. (She can always drop them, later)
Does your sister have a drug problem?

Your mom should call the cops. I think pressing charges is a great idea. Shame on your sister for being a thief.

She should absolutely press charges. Your sister needs a serious reality check before she steals form someone who will kill her. You mom wouldn't be doing you sister any favors by letting her get away with this.

Your sister has some serious problems that have to be dealt with legally now. If she will take money from your mother she will take it from someone else too. I hope your mother does contact the police. Your sister needs help.
