Basically you need a liquid which is usually milk, juice, water, soy milk.
ice makes it have a different texture as well as frozen bananas.
some people add a sweetener like sugar, honey, or artificial sweetener.
I like adding vanilla flavoring to my smoothie to add a different taste. You can also add cinnamon, or other spice to give it a nice flavor.
and lastly the fruits.
Experiment with all of these ingredients till you find your perfect smoothie recipe~!

Prep rep-The best way is to take plain yogurt and put it in cube trays and freeze them-then when they freeze you just put them in a freezer bag so that anytime that you want a smoothie you can just grab them and throw them in the blender.
Take 5-8 frozen strawberries(I get a big bag of them at BJ's wholesale club)put them in the blender, put two of the frozen cubes of yogurt in the blender, put about 1-2 cups of ice in(depending on how thick or thin you want it), put 1 cup of nonfat powder milk in, 1 cup of water, and 1/2 cup of sugar, last but not least 1tsp of corn oil and a spray of cooking spray(for emulsification purposes). Blend until smoothie!
So good-enjoy!!!

Same as above, but if you don't want to use yoghurt, you can use soy milk or cow's milk and add something to give it 'body' like a couple of tablespoons of wheat germ.
