to aurora-
i in no way represent Christianity in my question, and you do not understand what i meant by heirarchy- not one person or group better than the other, but a heirarchy in terms spiritul beings- saints, angels, arch angels, demi-Gods, etc

Brother Jesus speaks to this very issue in the first chapter of the course in miracles in an attempt to show that in Gods eyes we are all equal.

He says-- The miracle is therefore a sign of love among equals. Equals should not be in awe of each other because awe implies inequality. It is therefore an inappropriate reaction to me. An elder brother is entitled to respect for his greater experience, and obedience for his greater wisdom. He is also entitled to love because he is a brother, and to devotion if he is devoted. It is only my devotion that entitles me to yours.

There is nothing about me that you cannot attain. I have nothing that does not come from God. The difference between us now is that I have nothing else. This leaves me in a state that is only potential in you.

"No man commeth unto the father but by me" does not mean that I am in any way separate or different from you except in time.

Love and blessings Dear sister.

Don

There is a belief in many of the world's religions (not Christianity, however) that souls can evolve. A 'young soul' is one who is just starting out on the path of birth, rebirth, and has much to learn. An 'old soul' is one who has been around many times and has learned many of the lessons needed before achieving a higher plane of existence were reincarnation is no longer necessary. Many people believe the very holy and profound people in history were 'old souls'. these include, but are not limited to, Jesus, Buddha, Mother Theresa, Teresa of Avila, St. Francis, Confusius, etc. I don't know that there is a heirarchy per se, but there are beings who are more evolved than we are and beings who are less evolved (spiritually at least). Where we fit on this is anyone's guess since the Creator has not taken anyone into Its confidence.

Yes, our spirits evolve. We are evolving in an unprecedented and exciting way as we speak. Our DNA is changing due to our position in space ( because of the higher vibrational rate in the Photon Belt) for one thing. The grand experiment is underway. We are and have been trapped in a heavy dense 3rd dimension. We are now moving into a 4th or 5th lighter higher vibrational dimension.. Our spirits are evolving at a phenomenal rate. We have "sped up" and so has all creation from the universe down to the smallest iota of being. We are evolving right now! Infinite love is all there is. Infinite love is a higher vibration. Infinite love is the catalyst into the next dimension of out spiritual evolution.

There are no "souls" that are sentient and eternal. The soul is simply the life force. What would be the purpose of a hierarchy? Why is Christianity always trying to create a superior group?

Yes, one who has the spirit in man (which includes all living humans) can eventually have the earnest of the Spirit of God.
This Holy Spirit can grow with time and experience.

None. God is always and unchanging. No. There is a hierarchy in heaven.
