We would be pure energy. Our mortal bodies couldn't handle the full truth all the knowledge. The bible says that when we die we will know all things. In death is when we are energy.

That's a popular misconception of how the brain works. Both athletes and intellectuals know that their best performance happens when they can get in the 'zone' -- a state where the mind is focused on the task at hand and distractions aren't noticed. The task is performed effortlessly, with better precision and a better end result. There have been recent experiments with brain imaging devices to study people under normal circumstances, and in the zone. Guess when people are using less of their brain?

In fact, a person having grand mal epileptic seizure is perhaps the closest anyone comes to using 100% of their brain.

Oh, I should say that all of us actually do use nearly all of our brain. Fortunately, not all at the same time.

I thought it was only 10%, but whatever.
If we were able to use 100% of our brain, we may well have access to certain abilities, such as telepathy, psychic vision, and most definitely a true enlightenment. We would no longer be able to hide behind small closed minds. Once your mind/brain becomes enlightened, open to new and different ideas, you really can't go back.
I don't know that we would be able to have special powers like the X-men or the sisters on Charmed, but, you never know.

Left brain activity is like a huge computer disk. Using 15 to 20 percent of it is the optimal way to process data. Just as you wouldn't overload your hard disk, you shouldn't overload your bi-polar neurons with excess activity. Right brain activity is like your computer memory, dynamic and expansive to the point of virtual memory which makes maxing out in the right hemisphere unnecessary.

Well...its physically impossible for 100 percent of our brains to function....our brains would beomce over worked and would begin to hemorrhage and we would all die. =( sad i know... but the average person uses only 10% of their brain. I am content with 15% lol

OUr brains were made to last several hundred years, in the original design. Like all the people who lived before the flood, in Noah.s time, and it kept them occupied doing all sorts of things in life. But they goofed up. The brain is still good for that long life, but the rest of the old bod lost out.

There's really no telling, we could possibly find a cure for every single disease out there known to man...probably have some kind of telepathic ability, you name it. At least nobody would be closed-minded anymore hehe j/k.

This is such a dump argument. About 55% of our brains are used to separate the other parts of our brains. The outer 5-10% is used to hold everything together. That leaves 35%. We use half, and many people use more.

I think that just means 15% is used for thinking. The rest has other uses.

This statement is based on a complete myth. The human body uses 100% of the brain at all times. If you didn't, you would probably stop breathing and die.
