What is the use? By their questions you can see they are not capable of understanding it anyway. I thought perhaps it was just ignorance. These people here have convinced me otherwise.

PS Check out ramjets confusion on theory vs. opinion. This is a perfect example of what I mean.

What does evolution have to do with religion and spirituality? Aren't some of you just here trying to stir up controversy?

I am not really a "denier of evolution". I think it is possible, but I don't think it is a proven indesputable fact (or creation either). But no, I have never bothered to google that. In fact, it has never crossed my mind to do so.

I do not see how anyone can be so dogmatic about events that supposedly took place MILLIONS of years ago. The Christians are at least talking about events only a few thousand years back, and that is long enough ago for all the facts to get thoroughly jumbled up. In fact, look what has happened with the Kennedy assassination, and that was in the memory of many of us! When recent history can become so screwed up and skewed, how are we supposed to take stories about ancient times and remote antiquity as the absolute "gospel"?

Let me get this right, hundreds of witnesses observe Jesus Christ risen from the dead and are so utterly convinced of what they saw that they would rather die than change one word of their story....but you think that this doesn't qualify as evidence of anything.

Instead, you want to know if I have googled what some scientist claims (based on looking at bones) is the ancestor of all mammals. Oh yeah, and all Christians that question your beliefs are ill informed.

Perhaps you could get over yourself a little before gracing us with your all-knowing attitude?

Some of us don't need to GOOGLE. Some of us went to school to learn the lies of God killers. Why don't you google on manners you sinner and denier of Christ.
There is more scientific evidence of the creation than evolution. So you are the ill informed gracer of stupidity.
God Bless.

I believe what the Bible says. This issue has never been an obstacle for me. I trust that God told us how it all happened. Evolution or no evolution, God is behind of this whole operation.

You are ill informed about whether my opinion is ill informed or not.

All that scientists have been able to prove is adaptation, not any alleged ability of animals to evolve from one "kind" to another.

The best Authority on that is God's Word, the Bible, where He tells us the common ancestor of all humans is Adam and Eve ("And the two have become one flesh")

sure
what does that prove?
why is my 'ill-informed' opinion offensive to you?
does that mean that I can say that your opinion is 'ill-informed'?

In my humble opinion, no one's opinion is wrong - it's an opinon.
Evolution is a theory, not proof, therefore anyone's opinion about it is their very own indeed.

blessings :)
