"because you are can't backup your fairy tales with anything solid"
Guess what? That's exactly what many Christians consider atheism to be... fairy tales that can't be backed up with anything solid.

"It's indoctrination, brainwashing, and child abuse when you disagree with the teachings."
For both Christians and atheists?

"Because we have evidence to back up our assertions, while theists have only faith."
Sorry, but many of us dispute the conclusions you draw from the "evidence".

"You're telling people to believe what you say blindly."
Wrong. I've never told anyone to believe anything blindly. Anyone who does is not following the bible.

"You're telling people to believe what you say blindly."
We do have solid historical evidence that Jesus rose from the dead. So I'm still not seeing any difference.

"How do you indoctrinate non-belief into someone?"
Easy. By not presenting the arguments for both sides.

I want my little girl to learn to think for herself. If she chooses religion that will be her choice and I will love her and respect her.

Both can be indoctrination. What is not indoctrination is science, because it is entirely about evaluating evidence. But science can neither prove nor disprove the existence of God, although its conclusions are certainly relevant to religious beliefs - that is why we turn to meteorologists rather than prophets when we see storm clouds on the horizon. It is no good claiming that anyone has exactly the same beliefs and worldview as the early Christians - our worldview has changed. But just because we understand more about the world doesn't mean that spirituality has no place either. If one wants to teach someone in such a way as to ensure that no evidence will ever change their mind, that's indoctrination.

Because you are teaching a DOCTRINE that is sacrosanct. Are Christians allow to disprove parts of the bible? Are they even encouraged to search for evidence which might disprove parts of the bible?

True knowledge is open to revision in light of new facts. If a truth can't be questioned, it's nothing but a house of cards.

Christian dogma REFUSES to admit even the possibility that it might be wrong, therefore teaching it is tantamount to indoctrination, not education.

Atheists don't teach anything based on atheism, but if you refer to the teaching of mainstream scientific principles and understandings of the natural world, which YOU might label "atheism", then this is only passing on the collective body of knowledge gathered from many millions of hours of research, gathered data, evidence, understandings and explanations of the natural world around us..

You have such a narrow, infantile perspective from your religious bubble, that you can't see that indoctrinating young minds to believe your religious "doctrines" is no less than child abuse..!!

Hypocrites, lairs, and worshipers of ignorance should NOT be allowed access to the classroom..!!

When atheists teach, they provide current scientific fact and an interpretation of those facts. The students then can question and think out their own solutions.

When Christians indoctrinate, they spout ancient religious dogma and tell the students that they must believe and adhere or face an eternity of misery.

Which would you rather endure?

If you were going around teaching people that dragons were real and that they had to watch out for them, since you have no evidence, it would be indoctrination.

That someone comes along and says - hey, I don't believe you until you show me some evidence, and no one should believe you either... would you consider that teaching? Most rational people would.

Its not, if you were to teach a history class full of historical information about world events you would be a teacher.

Its when you give an opinion about that history and represent it as fact then its indoctrination.

Same goes for atheists.

Because the Atheists think they are right, so therefore, whatever they teach is, by nature, the truth, and whatever any Theist teaches is a lie, brainwashing the children into idiot fairy tales.

Dualism, coins have two sides, but it's still the same darn coin.

Because you're not teaching. You're telling people to believe what you say blindly. That isn't teaching, its brainwashing.

An Atheist never tells you to believe blindly. They tell you to keep searching for the answer, and not being able to find one doesn't automatically default to a god.

An Atheist says "Keep learning", a Christian says "I don't have to learn more because I know everything".

Because you have to take religion on blind faith with no supporting evidence other than books that say they are the end all be all.
