I put my pain aside and abide in my Heavenly Father that has always been with me and is and still to be with me. My earthly father never told me he loved me and never taught me about God. He never told me that he was proud of me or that he loved me. He was just not taught to do that from his parent's generation. I know that now and forgive him, I take my hurts and refudge to God. I don't know if my Dad was ever saved. I tryed to talk to him about God once. I only pray that my life as a christian saved him and he found salvation before he died. If you have any heartaches, I understand and say a prayer for you. God holds you as His treasure. That's always been my comfort and I can look back and see how my Heavenly Father was and is always by my side. That's a feeling of being safe and secure and affirmed. God created you and me just for Him. God gave us Jesus on the cross so we could stay in fellowship with God and belong to Him eternally.

If I had my father's affirmation, I'd know I was living my life the wrong way. The man cheated on his wife, abused and abandoned his children, ignores his grandchildren, and neglects his elderly mother. He lives only for himself.
