i am attending the race and never been to one...my seat is at the bottom champions section near the flag stand....i was just wondering what to expect and any info would be appreciated.. ..

Going to the races is the greatest thing you will experience. The thrill of cars going 190 + and the rumble of the cars as they pass by. Sitting at the line to watch them go across it.Meeting the drivers and the vender's. The only thing that you will miss is the wrecks that happens on the other side.
If you decide not to go let me know I love to go. There is nothing like it.

Expect to see Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson wreck is one thing I know for sure.
It'll be loud
And oh.... don't forget to stand up and cheer for the Hendrick drivers after they crash. Everybody else will... you don't want to look stupid by sitting there while everyone else is cheering them on cuz they made their day wrecking.
Oh yeah, be sure you cheer for Dale Jr if he leads, cheer with everyone else because they know it may be the only lap he leads and his chances of winning are slim to none, so they cheer for him when he finally does something right.

Shoot, you ain't gonna see much of anything. When the cars are going by, all you will see is a bunch of colors flying by. It's best to sit as high up as possible to get the best view. Beware, it's gonna be extremely LOUD!!!

You are about to have an awesome experience. Many people told me the same and I shrugged it off. I am requesting my next duty station on the east coast for the sole purpose of being around the tracks.
