So if adam and eve were the first two people on earth, then they had children, then they had children, children, children, and the cycle went on to billions of people, how did people get different skin other than white?

The Bible doesn’t tell us what skin color our first parents had, but, from a design point of view, the “middle” makes a great beginning. Starting with medium-skinned parents (AaBb), it would take only one generation to produce all the variation we see in human skin color today. In fact, this is the normal situation in India today. Some Indians are as dark as the darkest Africans, and some—perhaps a brother or sister in the same family—as light as the lightest Europeans. I once knew a family from India that included members with every major skin color you could see anywhere in the world.

But now notice what happens if human groups were isolated after creation. If those with very dark skins (AABB) migrate into the same areas and/or marry only those with very dark skins, then all their children will have very dark skins. (AABB is the only possible combination of AB egg and sperm cells, which are the only types that can be produced by AABB parents.) Similarly, parents with very light skins (aabb) can have only very light-skinned children, since they don’t have any A or B genes to pass on. Even certain medium-skinned parents (AAbb or aaBB) can get “locked-in” to having only medium-skinned children, like the Orientals, Polynesians, and some of my ancestors, the Native Americans.

Where people with different skin colors get together again (as they do in the West Indies, for example), you find the full range of variation again—nothing less, but nothing more either, than what we started with. Clearly, all this is variation within kind.

Actually the complete variety of the human genome will also be contained in 2 individual. Secular scientist have proven that every body have a ordinary history. Chances are that Adam and Eve had olive coloured dermis close to watching Mediteranean. On the opposite, distinct races don't end up Macro-evolution that is the tremendous trouble. No one disagrees that animals difference on a small scale (micro-evolution). But on the finish of time a horse will nonetheless be a horse and a human a human. The first persons had the equal DNA we do, be they Adam and Eve or a few man within the rift valley.

Who said Adam and Eve were white?

Or even that they were of the same skin color?

'Race' was not created by God.

It was a situation created by people of similar characteristics flocking together and populating their areas of the globe and thus producing people, generations over, of similar features.

People are people.

The "HUMAN" race!

(The funny thing about what Bronze said is that THAT is not even what evolution is .... THAT is just genetics, are people today a different species from Adam and Eve?? Not hardly.)

Adam and Eve were the same color as the dirt they were made of.

1+1=2

Oh oh - sort of like evolution - different people living in different places were exposed to different conditions and they adapted!

The bible does say though that one of Noah's' sons Ham, saw him naked and laughed (must of had a small willy?) and Noah cursed him. That curse was that where ever he or his descendants went they would be recognized as the cursed ones and would always be the slaves of men. Some interpret this as being the start of the black race.

The bible said that Adam and Eve was first born. The bible didn't say that there wasn't more people other than Adam and Eve :)

Adam and Eve had to be Black and since they were made using God's specifications...God is Black. There is no other explanation. Adam and Eve originated in Africa and there is no way you could have survived there if you had fair skin. tf

Adam and Eve are representational of our SPIRITUAL ancestors, not physical.

Skin colour evolved according to where each person lives after the great human migration out of Africa 100000 years ago. It's the Out of Africa viewpoint, and once people reached Europe they evolved white skin since the sun is weak there, in Africa they stayed black since the sun is strong and tall and skinny to give off body heat more efficiently to stay cooler, Inuit developed to be short and stocky to preserve body heat, etc.

The wonderful world of evolution and adaptation in action!

The answer to your question is easy, human race. Just as we all are, no matter the tint of our skin. Why do some Italians have children who are dark-skinnned? Why do dark-skinned blacks sometimes have light-skinned children?
