Not always. But sometimes, if the person I disagree with is obviously, blatantly, embarrasingly wrong (like the time I was in an argument with a woman who insisted that Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia, etc., were all "part of" China, and therefore, all Chinese), well, then I just can't seem to let it go.
I usually don't feel the need to prove myself right, but in some cases, I just can't.

No I do not. It doesn't make me feel any more of a person to get the last word out, but to some people it heightens their ego.
