Yes you can shoot > However never ever assume that when you have the Safety on that it is absolutely safe... Always have the gun pointed in a safe direction so as not to endanger yourself or others or property if the Safety fails to work... Safety's can malfunction and should be considered prone to failure.....Always check your safety every time you use your Firearm.....

Depends if the bolt is closed or not? If your locked and loaded with the safety off, then technically you are ready to shoot.

Take a firearms safety class, it just might save your life, or someone else's.
I am not saying this to be mean, take a class.

If it is off, there will most likely be some sort of red circle near it to indicate it is ready to fire. If is on you cannot shoot it.
