Islam is described in Bible prophecy, and in Greek and Hebrew their god is called DESTROYER.

Allah is the same God that the Jews and Christians worship. I am a recently converted Muslim, raised as a Christian, though not practicing (didn't go to church, etc...mainly just a Christian on paper).

Christians believe in the whole trinity thing, father, son and holy ghost, whilst Muslims believe there is one God and Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is the final messenger. Jesus is another Prophet, and also believed to still come back to Earth to help to guide us.

Muslims believe that the reason the Quran was recited to Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) by the Angel Gabriel was b/c of how the Bible had become misinterpretated through human error along the way. The Quran is the same as what the original prophesies of the bible would have been.

We have all played the game before where we sit in a circle as kids, one whispers a phrase into one's ear and as it goes around it ends up becoming a totally different phrase altogether. The Quran was told by Allah that it would not ever be different, and the only proper way to read it is in Arabic. I am learning Arabic and also how to read, and really, it is so beautiful to hear...

Anyhow, yes, There is only on God...the difference being is how people choose to worship. Insha'allah (God-willing) we all get directed on the right path.

As a Christian, my God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Since Muslims don't really have the whole 3-in-1 thing, then they don't worship the same God.
PS. I'm assuming that by "Allah," you mean the god of Muslims and not just the Arabic word for God.

Yes, Allah just means "the God'" in Arabic. The term is used by Jews and Christians,as well as Muslims, who speak Arabic for the One God of Abraham and was done so before the rise of Islam.

No, of course not. Allah is neither the God of the Jews, nor the God of the Christians, he is the God of the Muslims.
The God of the Jews is YHWH and the God of the Christians is YHWH + Jesus + the Holy Spirit (church) = the Holy Trinity.
Allah depends on Muhammad's single revelation (as it was recorded later by others); without that, Allah is nothing.
YHWH depends on many hundred separate revelations and so is more probably true.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit were also attested to by many different witnesses (as YHWH's completion), both at the time and since in the following church and Christian history.

Although you will get many answers on here saying "No," the answer is "yes." Allah is the Arabic word for God. It is a term used by Arabic non-Muslims as well.

God, the Creator, was the God of Abraham, father of the Jews, Christians, and Muslims.

Islam say Jesus was a "prophet."
The Bible says Jesus was God.

One must be wrong.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word was with God
John 1:14 the Word became flesh.
John 10:30 Jesus said I and the Father ARE ONE.

Jesus sits at the right hand side of God.
Mohammad lies in his grave to this day.

They are not the same. YHWH is the only true God.

I am Catholic. Yes, of course Allah is the same God. In Arabic he is called Allah...in Hebrew, he is called Alaha.

Neither Jews nor Muslims believe in a Trinitarian God...for this reason, many of them believe that we practice polytheism.

Sadly, many Muslims SEEM to believe in a vengeful God....but certainly not all of them. There are over 1.1 billion Muslims in the world....most of them living in Indonesia. That being said, less than 1% of them (10 million) hate Western ideologies.

Allah is just how some refer to God.

I saw in a movie and it was explained so beautifully. Just one person may be called differently by different people, father, son, cousin, friend, etc. But they all are referring to the same person. It is the same here.

It is similar to Yesu in Spanish and Jesus in English.

Also I think the Hebrew word for God is Allah.
