She isn't a person who you would go to with a problem because she always turns it to herself. I am fond of her but I would like her to listen sometimes. yabba yabba yabba knickers to good listening I say I'm giving it up!!!!!!

I work on being a good listener. Perhaps I am not always a good listener but I am not usually guilty of just waiting for my turn to speak.

I always both. I listen while waiting for my turn to speak and the problem I run into is that I complete people's sentences for them, just so I can get my opinion in.

I think we all do this, some more than others.

Sometimes a person is saying something that reminds you of something you want to share, only the person never shuts up. I hate talkers who monopolize the conversation. It should be a two-way street when conversing.

But I think I am a pretty good listener when I am interested. Otherwise, I shut down until they are finish if its boring.

I'm not going to lie, I do both. I listen to what people are saying and pay attention to them when necessary, but I do wait for my turn to speak as well sometimes.

Generally I listen to people but it depends on the people I'm with, situation and topic of conversations. Some people just won't stop talking once they start or the ' know it all ones" can't wait to be the first to open their mouths...then I'll wait and let them carry on unless it becomes unbearable, I'll cut in definitely..lol

It depends on the person, the conversation, and what kind of mood I'm in. Sometimes I just don't want to talk, so I do neither (don't listen very well and don't think about what I'm going to say next). Sometimes, when I'm chatting with my neighbors, the ladies get bossy or condescending and I end up just planning my defense (er..response) instead of listening closely.

I do both depending on the conversation and if the person has already made a good point and just repeating themselves or has not listen to what I have said. but if the person is saying something very interesting then I shut up and listen. come on we all do it!!

I honestly can say that when speaking to most people I prefer to listen to what they have to say. I find it more stimulating. Dont get me wrong I've got lots of thoughts going through my head, but dont feel the need to make myself heard. But I do hate people who can never give you the chance to talk, too self important for my liking !

most of the time i'll listen to a person while waiting for my turn to speak. I hate it when people dont listen to what i have to say though especially when i took the time to sit through their opinions and whatnot, makes me so mad
