According to the Creation Museum, all animals were vegetarians prior to Adam's sin .. it's why they have dinosaurs on the ark. However, someone forgot to tell them to read their bible.. the ark story comes AFTER the fall.
They'll just tell you that the wasp caterpillar came AFTER the fall as well.

Animals died. Just not humans. Animals were not perfect, were not given eternal life.
