which is better more user friendly to use .....Windows Media Player 10 or Real Player?

what can they both do ? Is one better than the other ? Can someone please tell me the pros and cons of each one?...I need something user friendly.....do both programs cover music vids for DL from the net? Which is your preference and why ? Thanks for your help

The overall look and feel of win Media player is better than that of real player. But it can't play real media files [.rm].
Real player can play almost all kind of media files.

But for better user experience, i'd suggest use windows media player for everything execpt real media. Use real player for real media.

Neither one is perfect and truth be told you really need both of them because some web sites use only real player and others use only media player so you should have both on hand. My own preference, though is Media Player mainly because they don't ask you a million personal questions when you are downloading. Real player is a Real Nuisance and I do believe that the other answerer is correct when he says they are guilty of data mining your Internet browsing habits.

I should write a long answer, but honestly, why bother? Real Player is a piece of garbage - and that is pretty much all there is too it. Sorry, but there really isn't any reason to elaborate :)
