Hmmm, not unless I want to eat "foods" like:
-veal which is from baby calves confined to a crate & forced to live in its own excrement
-geese which are force-fed with a tube shoved down its throat
-cattle which are forced to cannibalize & then acquire mad-cow disease
-chicken which is de-feathered through being boiled alive
-pigs strapped to a metal grate & treated as a machine instead of living being
I'll stick to excrement-free, cruelty-free, communicable disease-free sources of protein.

Yes we do. We buy our meat from local farmers who raise 'organic' animals. The beef is free-range grass/hay fed without hormones, steroids and massive amounts of antibiotics. They are well cared for and humanly put down. The same holds true for the chickens. They too enjoy free range to scratch and root for food. We do not eat swine, or lamb or veal or goose.
Our money does not go to support the corporate factory farms that make their living off the misery of the animals they crate and mistreat.

I like certain kinds of meat, but don't eat meat on a regular basis. I just had a very good chicken sandwhich, yesterday.
