Joseph donated no dna to Jesus
Location in a womb does not affect the dna of a child if it did children carried by surrogates would look like the women who carried them
I'm certain only that he was "middle eastern" in appearance. Anything else is interesting to speculate about, but really not important in the bigger scheme of things

Yes, Joseph was not His physical father
No, God does not have an appearance since He is Eternal and Infinite Spirit.
Doesn't being in the womb have an effect some how or other on everybody's appearance, apart fro the DNA being already set and all?
Jesus probably looked like a lot of Galilean Palestinian West Semetic Jews of His location and time. Some think Jesus looked like the image on the Shroud of Turin. Nobody really knows. I like paintings of Jesus as a man of different races and types and cultures.

Jesus was not Joseph's biological son so Yes to the first part of your question.
Jesus was a man created by God, whose father is God. SO that would make him a darker skinned Jewish man. We are ALL created in the likeness of God though. And Mary was still his mother so he also had the genetics of her blood line as well. He was not just placed there in her womb, he was CONCEIVED in her womb, which infers to her egg being fertilized by the Holy Spirit of God.

Hello first lets note what The Holy Bible says about Jesus in Isaiah 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him. AlsoNOTICE THE WORDS in John 8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. DId you notice that Jesus just passed by, Jesus did not have a outward appearance that He stood out, the reason He stood out because of what He was on the inside NOT what was on the outside He was able to pass by for He looked like every body else, also notice although according to John 1, Hebrews 13:8, Jesus IS GOD but He took up a form that we can see God and live, find out more about Him free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org God bless email me also wgr88@yahoo.com

I don't know. He didn't even leave us a body to look at, did he? It seems kind of odd to think that God would be made of the same things He created. He made DNA, but I don't think it has any bearing on His own existence.
For the sake of giving him a human face in my own mind, I let my self believe that after his crucifixion Jesus looked very much like the image on the Shroud of Turin. It is a convenience for me.

in the Bible it says that he had hair like wool and his feetlike brass. He probably had his mothers features. Middle eastern was probably his appearance. No one knows what God looks like. Jesus is his son but came to represent God. Not in appearance but in deed and word.

Well, let me go get into my Tardis (space-time machine) and journey back to old Palestine to see what Jesus looked like, and see how much he resembled Mary.

Until anybody can produce a photograph with undeniable proof that the image is that of Jesus Christ, all your hypothesizing is moot. Anyway, who cares what Jesus looked like? Well, black people would be thrilled if it were proven that Jesus was black.

The bible hints that he was ordinary:
"He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him." -- Isaiah 53:2 NIV
No scriptural documentation to back up modern-day images of a long dirty blond haired, blue eyed, fair skinned man with a moustache and beard (BTW, where did that originate?!).
