Ask your dentist. They could smooth them down. But the 2 front teeth are usually longer. If they aren't bothering you when eating or talking, maybe just leave it. It's better to have them healthy instead of smoothing them and who knows what can come of it down the road. Ppl are prob staring because of your straight teeth, which is great, let them stare. I do because I had braces before and they're still not straight enough. Sorry, I'm one of them, lol. But only because I'm envious, lol. =)

The central incisors are always the longest teeth in the mouth so this is normal. The lateral incisors, the teeth next to the middle ones, are usually 1-1 1/2 mm shorter. Look at the canines, third ones back, and they should be on the same plane as the centrals. If not you could do enamelplasty where a small amount of enamel is removed from the centrals making them shorter.

The natural curvature of the teeth is to appear longer in the front and shorter as you progress back. Buck teeth are teeth that actually tilt outward not down. If your teeth are healthy and you aren't biting your lips all the time I would say, leave them alone.

Braces could repair that particular subject, however what they could turn out to be having to do is snip that little piece of gum among the enamel that connects beneath your best lip. It's a painless approach. The piece of gum that is there's tugging at the subject and maintaining the distance among the enamel open. Sometimes, they have to liberate the anxiety the piece of gum (known as a frenum) is inflicting for the enamel to near, however often braces can do it. Give it time, they're going to cope with the trouble and the distance will near a technique or a further.

You could always have the dentist file them down a little so they are not as long. We have done this on patients many times at the office I worked for.

People might stare at you but it is not your teeth they are looking at.
Normal that the teeth be on different levels and we all have it.
Get over thinking you are someone to be admired.

If they are really long and bother you, ask your dentist if it would be safe to grind them down a little. I had that done years ago with no ill effect.
