Not only are we animals, we are mammals. Not only are we mammals, we are primates. Not only are we primates, we are great apes.
However, we are generalized great apes with an ability to form abstract ideas. This has allowed us to advance technologically much further than any other animal ever has. This has also allowed us to investigate moral questions that never arise in the minds of most animals. This, in turn, has led us to religion and philosophy. We are the only animal to get this far (as yet).

specific we would heavily resemble apes, yet yet we posses a plenty larger point of thinking. We strengthen hair on our heads, and an exceptionally small volume someplace else. we've become attentive to that we're not clothed and placed linen on, the animals are bare and don't experience any shame with it. the ingredient i can't understand approximately evolution is the fish that ultimately developed into land creatures what became their reason for coming near the land to stay? what became the evoloutinary ought to proceed to exist land? then what later grew to become the ought to fly? In the two the evolutionist and creationist concept there are questions approximately some significant issues, yet with the creationist concept there is basically one significant question how did God become? while with the evolutionist concept there are various many inquiries to be requested such through fact those i've got indexed and extremely some extra. Many scientist who've dug far adequate; and that have chosen to settle for what they have got here across now have self belief that there is a God who has created all issues. lots of them has come to the top that evolution is a much less probable problem in assessment to the creation of all ingredient via a single God. wish this annoying circumstances you all to look into it extra that there is a single God who despatched Jesus Christ through fact the moshiach (messiah)

I actually take great comfort in being an animal. We are no different. So if we have consciousness, awareness, and then even a sould - whats to say the other animals do not. I have been around the other animals my life, all have different personalities, different things that make them individuals. Humans are a little different than most animals but we also are a lot like them too.

If you want to look at it from a "biological" standpoint, yes, we are all animals.
However, the Bible says that man was created in God's own image and that man was given dominion over all of the other animals. I find that easier to believe, because I would think that if evolution was completely correct, where is other intelligent life like us? Macro evolution is completely flawed and I hated having to learn about a stupid system like this in school.
I should clarify this a little bit, though. Micro evolution does exist, since it can be seen and proven. Macro evolution, though, has too many flaws and should be taken out of schools because it is the biggest joke I have ever heard of. Even Darwin, who came up with the idea, admitted that it was impossible to believe in, because of all of the difficulties that would come through it.

we are animals... mammals. But I know that's not what you really mean.... so onward. We don't act on our instincts like animals because we (humans) have the ability to rationalize whether the behavior is beneficial to all or not. (for instance.. sex. We don't act primative in the matter, like Clan of the Cave Bear... we ask.) Humans realized it benefitted one another to behave more socially. I don't know how they realized this... IMO, I think that's why the story of Adam and Eve was written. That up until the point they ate from the tree they didn't have the knowledge of good and evil... afterward they did, they evolved into rational thinking instead of acting solely on instinct.
It doesn't scare me necessarily... it only scares me when people revert back to acting solely on impulse. (like serial rapists, serial killers, phedophiles, etc)

human kind are animals, saying we arent is the equivalent of saying pigs fly. its obvious they dont, cant and wont fly.
we didnt necicerilly evolve from monkies, but we are animals, all living things (except plants and bugs) are animals.
we have the same basic body part make up, the same actions, even the same way of doing some things.
humans arent at all smarter. if humans were smarter than
a)we wouldnt be damaging our world
b) we wouldnt fight
c) we wouldnt destory everything we saw, living or not
d) the balance of nature an life wouldnt shift so much everytime we make an animal go extict by our "brilliant" way of eating everything we see.

Animals have/are souls too. The word is nephesh. You'll find it used to describe both animal and human creations in Genesis 1.
As for the rest, Ecclesiastes 3:18 says: "I also thought, 'As for mne, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other.'"

Man is made in the image of God; an animal is not. Plants and animals were created; Man was specially so [ie. Gen. 2:7, 1:26-27]
Biblical doctrine declares that a man is raised to judgment to stand and give an account of himself before God. An animal does not have to do that.
Man is a rational creature; and animal is not.
Every last man and woman that ever lived will be judged before God one day.
Animals will not.
The soul of man will be resurrected;
The soul of an animal will not. [ie Rev. 20:13-14]
Death claims every living thing ...
But the soul of man is different from that of an animal:
“For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts;
Even one thing befalleth them;
As the one dieth, so dieth the other;
Yea, they have all one breath;
So that a man hath no pre-eminence above a beast:
For all is vanity. All go unto one place;
All are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward,
And the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?”
[Eccl. 3:19-21]
The difference lies after death.
At the moment of death, the soul departs from the body and is made aware of its eternal state; it is then consigned – held over – until the final Day of Judgment, when the souls of all who ever lived shall appear before the Judgment Seat of God.
According to the Bible, the soul shall find itself in hell with those who have rejected Christ; or in heaven with the souls of those who have yielded themselves to Christ while in this life.
In the instant after death, the soul shall be immediately aware of its condition; and what its state for eternity will be ... the soul will know that it is being held in a state of torment or bliss, until that Day of Judgment shall come.
[Recall the account given of the devils who encountered Christ and screamed: Art thou come to torment us before the time” ... they knew that a dreadful day of Judgment was to come, and thought that perhaps Christ was there to execute it then.]
On that Day of Judgment, the soul will be reunited with its body – regardless of how it has been decayed, dissolved, burned, or broken; the same God who created the universe, the earth; animals and man; will in equal measure return the bodies that have been destroyed, to the souls that had inhabited them.
This will not occur with the bodies and souls of animals.
And that, is why human beings are not animals.
I hope this answers your query.
Regards,
Philip Livingstone

We are animals, but vastly different at the same time.
We are so clearly the most unique and intelligent specie on this planet, and some people think that excuses us from the animal kingdom.
