Tylenol is best for pain and Advil for inflammation. Ibuprofen is the generic name for Advil.
Advil (Ibuprofen) works best for pain that is caused by inflammation and since much pain is caused by inflammation, then it works best.
However, for many headaches, tylenol works well.

Advil and ibuprofen are the exact same think. Tylenol can be rough on some people stomachs so they opt for advil.

Tylenol is good for headaches. Advil and ibuprofen are the same thing and are good for body aches.

Try excedrin. I have tried all three products you have mentioned and none of them have worked as FAST and effective as excedrin. You take a excedrin and within five minutes or less the pain is GONE.
