You will need to start training it right away. I have had dogs for as long as I can remenber. I usually just lay down on the floor with my puppy, so as I don't tower over it. Then I just start talking to him/her and calling him/her by his/her name. Just keep repeating the name all the time. I also teach tham that having a collar on is not a bad thing. I usually put a light weight collar on and then pretty quick the puppy will just ignore it.
Make sure that you socialize your puppy and get him/her used to all types of people and children espically.
Another thing is to TOUCH THE PUPPY ALL OVER. THEY NEED TO LEARN THAT HAVING THEIR EARS PULLED ON LIGHTLY OR THEIR PAWS TOUCHED OR LIFTED UP IS FUN. I ALSO GIVE MY DOGS A HUG AROUND THEIR BODY. PET THEM ALL OVER THEIR BODY. Also make sure that you can pick up your dog if you need to and the dog will not snap. If the dog ever get loose - this may help some one catch the dog.
Teach your puppy that it is ok to pull away the food (if need be) and open their mouth and stick your finger in their mouth. You might need to pull out a bone some time.
You need to teach your puppy sit, down and come.
For the SIT command, simply place a piece of biscuit inbetween you thumb and forefinger and place the biscuit in fron fo the puppies nose - a little out of reach. The nose will go up and the but should go down. Always praise your puppy for something done right. I make my dogs sit before they are fed. They see the food bowl and they automatically sit.
As for COME I usually play with the puppy and keep calling the puppies name. When the puppy comes - just love it and tell it good puppy. Keep this up all the time. Don't spank your puppy for not coming because then it will associate spanking and coming as bad things.
Don't allow your puppy to jump on you. Discourage jumping by turning your back and ignoring the puppy. When the puppy quits- then praise it.
Also teach the puppy STAY. I raise my dogs outdoors and teach them to stay by raising up my food to their chin level and saying STAY. Do this each and evey time and eventually, they will get this too.
Don't let the puppy get mouthy either and chew. I usually just grab their snout and say NO!!!
If you have a vehicle - it is important to teach the dog to load up (get in the car). This is done by putting them in the car and at the same time saying LOAD UP. All I have to do is to open the car door and they are ready to go and get in. This is espically helpful when you have medium to large or giant dogs.
Another thing that I teach my dogs it the command OUT. (this is if I want them out of the house, out of the garage, or out of a room, etc.)
Dogs need to have a leader and you need to establish who is the leader early on.

First off, your age is a crisis. Are you certain that you are competent for this? Also, relying on in which you reside there could also be problems of legality. and much more so if he's drastically older. I might suggest that you simply suppose approximately those matters. I'm no longer going to disclaim you recommendation given that I cannot give up you from going via with this. Therefore I'd instead you have been moderately armed with know-how if you are discovered to do it besides. The predominant factor is to make use of security. You do not wish to turn out to be pregnant and you do not wish to get any sexually transmitted illnesses, principally as your supposed accomplice has a various sexual historical past. Don't compromise in this. He both wears a condom or it does not occur! It's primary that you are taking matters gradual given that it can be uncomfortable the primary time. You have got to make certain that it occurs in a at ease atmosphere in which you will not be interrupted, in order that your nerves are minimised. It is primary that that there's foreplay, in order that you turn out to be sufficiently excited (and as a result sufficiently lubricated) for penetration to paintings. With regards to positions, you can also uncover it simpler to be on best in order that you're in manage of the speed and the intensity of penetration.

Cockapoos are the most loving wonderful dogs. Rarely will you find one who is aggressive or nervous. Look for a puppy who is very friendly and outgoing. It will be your snuggle bunny and companion for many years. You must be firm about housebreaking. The little puppy might need to go out every few hours around the clock (yes, That means walking him at 10 PM and again at 3 AM) when he is little, but he will quickly outgrow that, just like all babies. Get a purebred. Anyone selling mixes probably doesn't have the best credentials, doesn't test, and there's no telling what the pup will look like. Best advice anyone can give you, really.

But if you're set, well then all I can do is wish you luck and tell you to ask questions like "do you test for genetic deffects in mom/dod?" and "can I see proof?"
