assuming a 40 hour work week and 2 weeks (paid) vacation per year, a person making $10 per hour would gross $20,800 in one year. ($10 x 40 hrs x 52 weeks)

For net pay (take home), all examples will depend on your exeptions on your W4.

Here are gross pay samples:

If you work 1 hour a year your gross is $10.

if you work 20 hours week for a year your gross is $10, 400 your net will depend on your exeptions on your W4.

If you work 40 hours week for half a year your gross is $10,400
If you work 40 hours week for a year your gross is $20, 800
