I don't know ... the story of the rich man and Lazarus the beggar shows the rich man crying out to Abraham, not God.
"...the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame"

As some have said, Hell is a place absent of God's presence. The Bible itself (specifically, the Old Testament) recounts at least one point in history where God removes his presence from the Israelite temple, and all kinds of bad crap happens to them then.
The other truth is that Hell is not real. Yet. Heaven and Hell are things that will not exist until after the end of time; I believe it to be Revelation that says that the passage of time between death and resurrection will be "like the blinking of an eye"...
In other words, dead is dead - but in the same way that asleep is asleep. Heaven and Hell aren't quite there yet, to the extent of my understanding.

In Luke 19 is a story where Abraham heard a rich man in hell ask for water to cool his tongue. His request was denied, big time. I felt bad for the guy. I would have given him some ice cubes at least. It's pitiful to just sit there and watch someone suffer.

in the beginning I would desire to tell you that i'm no longer religious and don't think in god. although, what you experienced replaced into of course very actual and is effective to disillusioned you. My advice to you would be is that consistent with threat it wasn’t a message plenty as some advice. in case you have been to maintain on then you certainly could be destined to flow to hell, yet you have been given a awaken call and even have the possibility to stay a stable existence and attempt and connect the wrongs you have carried out. i like to think of which you customarily get a 2nd threat in existence, no remember what the circumstances (properly, newborn rapists perhaps no longer). Don’t stay on the previous, don’t concentration on the destiny, basically stay your existence as appropriate you are able to and cope with human beings the form you opt to be dealt with.

Those who are dead, cannot pray. ... or think, or feel, or do anything; they are dead, not living somewhere else. The Bible is clear on this; why don't people believe God when he explains something?
Bible references to the state of the dead:
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.” — (Ecclesiastes 9:10)
“For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth.” — (Isaiah 38:18)
“For in death there is no remembrance of You; In the grave who will give You thanks?” — (Psalms 6:5)
“The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor any who go down into silence.” — (Psalms 115:17)

When a person ends up in hell , they rejected Christ and his free gift of eternal salvation in their life time . For turning from Christ you are eternally separated from God , and he wouldn't even think of listening to some one who wouldn't listen to him. 2 Corinthians 6:2 " For he saith,I have heard thee in a Time accepted , and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold now is the day of salvation "

If he listened to those prayers while they were on earth their would be no hell to go to.
Any all powerful being could be so cruel as to send someone to hell is not worthy of my worship.

I do not know because the salvation deal is over, but it is a worth of trying. But I would not want you/one to leave it so late.

Hell has been defined as the absence of God, so that wouldn't be possible.
