The term only begotten is a translation of a single Greek word, monogenes. It emphasizes a uniqueness of the one so designated. For example, Isaac is so designated in the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Old Testament, as being the "only-begotten" son of Abraham, even though Abraham had previously fathered Ishmael. (See Genesis 22:2)
Jesus is the Son of God in a manner unique and unlike any of the other so-called sons of God.
The angels are also referred to as sons of God in the first chapter of the Book of Job.

Jesus is God incarnate. He was born through a woman so who is the father of this incarnate God child, when no human father contributed anything to his composition? If He had a father at all, it has to be God, ergo, God the Father.
Since, then, the child is not born with a fallen human nature, and thus the only perfect human being, sinless and preexisting His own birth, what do we call Him? Answer: God the Son, or Son of God. Not in the sense that God makes us all His sons and daughters when we repent and serve Him, but in the sense that Jesus is a one time only happening; a miracle baby (who essentially conceived Himself).
As for those virgin births in the animal kingdom, they're just that animals. Not only, but this is called pathenogenesis, and it always produces female offspring. Jesus, was human, and male. He was unique, He was the God-man.
John 1:1,14
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
By the way, you are right, "God has no partner in worship." But Christ is not a partner with God, He is God incarnate. He, together with the Father, and the Holy Spirit, are the one God to be worshipped. That God is multidemensional and multi personal should not offend a monotheist so long as the three are one, and this is the case as taught in the Bible. That's why we often refer to the one God as the Trinity.

God breathed into the lungs of Adam and he became a living being. Jesus is God's only begotten Son. So what's your problem? Adam was created, Jesus was sired. The Bible is very clear about it all. You only become confused when you try to speculate about it and perhaps try to understand how God did it. He is the Alpha and the Omega. The Beginning and the End. And all that was, is or ever will be belongs to Him. Including us. If you rebel then you leave yourself open to a world of hurt. God doesn't even have to hurt you, all He has to do is leave you to your own devices. When human nature takes over you just wind up messing things up. Jesus is God's Son. He sits to the right of His Father and fortunately for mankind He is our Advocate.

JESUS IS GOD! If You Cannot Accept That, You Cannot Be Saved FROM HELL! You'll See. All You Need To Do Is Study God"s Word. Jesus Is God The Father, God The Son, And God The Holy Spirit! THREE In One. You Should Worship God in Spirit and In Truth.

Your answer's in your question. Adam was the "son of God" as you say. Jesus, however, was the "Son" of God, as you point out in line 5 of your "question": "Son" = an honor serv(ant) to God. Capital "S" vs. small "s". HUGE difference. But your last "paragraph" which seems to be more of a demand or lecture than a question, reminds me of verse I read in Proverbs just moments ago: " A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion." Proverbs 18:2. God Bless you.

Only begotten son refers to each of us - our true nature is our real identity, not the imprinted ego, which has to be transcended for rebirth.
Adam is symbolic of the minds capacity for reason, as Eve is each minds capacity to create the real.
The virgin birth symbolizes pure love or unconditional love as necessary for remembering our true Self/Christ Self.
God is not a daddy figure to be worshipped but a multidimensional reality that is responsive to consciousness. It takes internal work, worship won't cut it.

That is not what the Bible says.
John 10:30
I and my Father are one.
Jesus was the only BEGOTTEN son of God. Adam and all others are created by God.
John 14:9-11 (King James Version)
9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

Adam was not born (begotten) of a woman. He was formed out of the dust of the earth by God.
So call him: Adam.
