Who else thinks that if Starbucks, Walmart, and Oprah teamed up we'd all be doomed?

We're already doomed. If what you suggest were to happen, it would merely be "salt in the open wound". Corporate America and their commercial media outlets already control the vast majority of American sheep. Sad, eh? Even topical research on the subject will reveal the fact that corporate conglomerates pay a fraction of the taxes they did 50 years ago. And the number of Americans who are self employed has dropped from roughly 45% to about 3% over the past century. Yup, they own us now. What a suckfest!

I don't see Starbucks and Oprah as bad corporations/people(at least in comparison to Walmart); Walmart on the other hand . .. yes, we'd all be doom, but we already are, so. ..

On an unrelated note, a starbucks opened up recently on the corner part of a strip mall next to a supermarket. Another mini starbucks opened up inside the supermarket on the same wall as the actual starbucks on the otherside. WTF over?

I agree. Overrated and overpriced. I drove right past the starbucks across the street today to go to the local coffee shop where they have decent prices, less stuck up people, and free wifi.
