Reforms are definitely better than granting amnesty to all illegals, but we really need to start off by enforcing our current laws, and if that doesn't work, THEN we can discuss reform. NEVER, EVER grant amnesty. That just encourages people to break our laws because apparently we cant enforce them, so we will just give in.

Well reform is simply redoing the laws. There is reform needed but that reform needs to be the right kind of reform.

The current bill has some reform in it in the way of increasing border patrol agents and training. using electronic monitoring and drone vehicles. mandating that border fencing be built.
this and many other thigns is good.

But there are many bad things as well. Thats the problem.
Lets be realistic. Is someone who is here illegally going to come up with several thousand dollars and leave then reenter? You know they wont.

What has to happen is removal of all incentive to come to the USA illegally. bottom line.

Deportation, thats the fine as of right now for being here illegally. We do not need reform, we have laws, but lacl enforcement. No amnesty, No reform.

Neither, We need to be enforcing the laws that are already on the books and have been for decades....we don't need new ones. The reason we have so many illegals is because we never have enforced the laws. The only reason anyone in power wants to pass this amnesty bill is they want their million or more votes. If they pass the bill they are guaranteed their votes... AND CLOSE THE BORDERS FIRST

neither.. just enforce the laws we have in this country. we don't need to reform laws for people who are here illegally, we don't need to grant people amnesty for breaking the law. If we do this, then why don't we let every criminal out of jail??? where do we draw the line.. to me illegal is illegal

amnesty would be too good, but reforms (looks like) is what they are getting.

Stricter enforcement of existing laws, ending loop holes like anchor babies, land mines, fencing, etc. These are the areas that could use improvement.

Amnesty never again. "Guest worker" programs are the same turd all shined up, but still smell the same as amnesty.

That is right Gipper
Let's don't spend the $$$ in Illegal immigrants
but let's spend the $$$$$$$$ in stupid wars such the one with IRAK where innocent people and young soldiers are being killed for such stupid decisions from our very American president bush

Neither! Militarize our border with a "shoot-to-kill all illegal invaders" directive. This way we won't have to spend the $$$ to deport as many, just bury them in mass graves or throw their dead butts back over the wall into Mexico
