Actually, I believe in God. I believe Jesus was resurrected. I believe that Israel was somehow delivered from Egypt in a miraculous way. I believe that Moses saw something that looked like a burning bush (but might not have been fire as we understand it). I believe that the story of Noah's ark teaches a truth about salvation. I don't know if I believe that the story necessarily happened.
I believe science has it's place and is valid in its field.

Answer to 1-4: Yes, I believe 100% in the bible and in what God has stated.
Answer to 5: Science is based on man's skills and ability. Mankind is not fool proof or perfect. They have failed many times. So... in that case, I do not believe in science in the fullest. I have doubted it several times.

Yes, science was also created by God just as the events above were. Thank God for science. Its the unanswered questions/theories/hypothesis' of science that are the most awesome wonders of all. It shows how little the human mind can truly wrap around the universe. It shows how small we are. It humbles us to the true reasoning and logic of something greater than ourselves.

1.) imaginative prose about a religious experience
2.) allegory
3.) not sure, I think it have metaphorical meaning as well as some literal meaning. Science has added in giving natural causes of a 'parting' of the Red Sea.
4.) no.
5.) Much of the time, yes. Since science can usually be proven... I check it out.

Yes times five.
I saw on TV the other day, a video which documents, where they found the chariots of Pharoh's Army on the bottom of the Red Sea.
Coral has formed around all the original objects but its still clear that that was the place where God drowned Pharoh's Army.

yes, the reed sea it's natural phenom...reference tsunamis....earthquake..waters recede....people go out grab fish...water comes back..they're all dead! oops!
yes...reference the shroud of turin...his image was burned into that fabric when the fire of the holy spirit consumed his flesh body and brought out the supernatual/transfigured body.
no the shroud was not created in 1500's flawed carbon testing since it was in a fire and the soot deposits caused the erroneous dating. another subject for another time....
yes, science is not evolution, rather often facts..thermodynamics..gravity...
natural law....all real and part of the creation.....structure form purpose...not random and chaotic.

I believe these stories may have some factual or historical basis, but they have been exaggerated and distorted over time. Believers will make the facts fit their preconceived beliefs.
I don't believe in science either. I am a skeptic and I take nothing on faith.

I don't believe in the first four in a literal sense. Some of which are agreeable in the moral values they're meant to teach. Science; Of course.
