Hypothetically, you had a bad breakup, were together for several years, but now you and your ex get along okay, although you're not the best of friends. If you found out that your ex slept with a woman instead of a man as her first partner after the breakup, how would you feel about it?

As for details, nobody was drunk or high. Both parties were willing, and still are.

I think most guys would initially wonder if it was their fault (whether there was any hint of such or not) that the woman turned to other women.
If it were me, and I had dismissed that notion, however, I would actually feel good about it (that is, if I didn't know she had slept with other men as well). If she was just sleeping with other women I would then think, "Oh, that's why she dumped me, she's a lesbian." Which would actually be comforting, because then it's not my fault. If she were sleeping with other guys as well, though, I would feel bad because I would then KNOW it was me she didn't like, whether it was my fault she became a lesbian or not.
(I realise also, that it's very unlikely a man ever "makes" a woman become a lesbian. If she's doin' chicks, it's because she's gay/bi, not because he pissed her off. Think of it this way, guys, you wouldn't suck a guy's **** because your girl burned all your stuff except your $9000 sound-system which she had sex on with four other guys at once. . . Unless you're gay.)
Ultimately, for me, if you're not having sex with me, I'm unhappy about it-- whether you're doing it with girls or guys.

I would not care who my ex was with. Her romantic or sexual activities would not be any of my concern. I would be more focused on what I'm doing with my own life. If I were worried about what she was doing and with whom that would mean that I was still trying to hold onto the relatinship.
When I read this question, it reminded me of my ex-wife who was very upset when she learned that I had started a new relationship with another woman after we were no longer together and even more upset when she learned that I am planning to get married again and uses every objection she can think of to tell me why I am such a horrible, selfish person for wanting to move on with my life and find someone who I can be happy with.

It depends on what countries you are referring to. In 1st world countries, both men an women face equal hardships. men may face losing their children after divorce and are often put down by society without society realizing they are doing it. On the other hand, women in 1st world countries still face issues like rape, low salary, troubles having children while working, no maternity leave, and even discrimination in the workplace. Though, women do have benefits that men don't. In third world countries or anything in between, there is no question who has it worse.

Wouldn't bother me in the least. However as my ex I wouldn't be her friend so I wouldn't know anyway. Most people that don't end up getting married do not stay friends, that only happens on TV.
