"2 AA KODAK MAX Digital Camera Batteries; 2 AA lithium or Ni-MH batteries or 1 CRV3 lithium battery; 3 volt adapter"

My family's Kodak EasyShare CX6445 needs new batteries. The quote above is what it says to get. "2 AA lithium or Ni-MH batteries or 1 CRV3 lithium battery" What kind are those? Where can I find them? About how much do they cost?

I just looked them up and they are just regular batteries. Is that right? Why do they make them sound so different...

If they are just regular batteries, please say so. xD I'm so sorry for being daft.

You're best choice is the rechargeable NiMh CRV3 batteries. Of course, other might say that the actual CRV3 LiOn non-rechagables ones are better because the camera is a high drain device. For me, I look for convenience and it all depends how critical the situation's shot is. If its a wedding and my neck is on the line to get the best pics, I would not go for the rechargeable, unless I'm using another camera and I have someone else switch the batteries at my command.

If its just regular shooting, the rechargeable batteries pay for themselves in no time, and in some ways "force" us to take more pictures. That way you will have that "great" shot that everyone will call you a hero for capturing.

Hope this helps. Best of luck to you and your photography. Go Digital!!!

A camera that is capable of taking two doubleA's is great because they usually will take a CRV3 battery witch looks like two double A's stuck together with a piece of plastic holding them in place. These batteries are sold at wal- mart in the camera section for right at $10. I have a camera that takes CRV3 batteries, and they last a long time compared to regular double A's....well worth the $10. The CRV3 batt.usually will last me about 3-5 months compared to AA's witch last about 2 -4 weeks

I use MAHA AA 2700 mah nimh rechargeable batteries in my Canon A710is. I get 350 to 400 shots on a charge , 100% lcd on, 25% flash on. These are the best rechargeables I have ever had. www.thomasdistributing.com has them and the charger. I have never had a good Kodak battery, They are average at best.

If you're using an AF film SLR, your first step should be the same company's DSLRs for lens/flash compatibility (Minolta AF lenses fit Sony). No DSLR is cheap, though, despite all of them being much the same.
