I am a Christian and I feel that it would be good to see where other people are coming from religion wise. I just want to hear your opinions.

As a Christian I too have felt angry towards God at one stage and everything written in the Bible seemed to be wrong, unjust and unfair. But as you grow older you see the face of a loving, living God shining out of the mists and He is one who answers prayers and does everything for your own good, ultimately.
We are unable to comprehend many things in this plane of existence called mankind in the world. How many more kinds of existence are there we do not know. We will have to wait and see. Cribbing before that and labelling this God bad or that religion stupid only shows immaturity otherwise known in philosophy (Indian philosophy, that is) called 'Avidhya' or ignorance. I myself have found that the longer you live and more experiences you gain (it need not be actively seeking experience, life will bring a number of them in its own accord), you move from one stage to another which is always higher. You learn to appreciate your Maker more and more as you learn from life more and more. Sicknesses, set backs, failures are the greatest teachers. Have faith they are for your own good.
Praying for help to understand each and every situation whether good or bad, helps.

I'm not angry with either. Christians can be annoying when they assume that they have the right to "convert" me, especially since I always respect their beliefs and don't try to change their beliefs. I am an atheist, and if they can't respect that, then perhaps they should go back to school and learn about the main reasons the U.S. was formed with the separation of church and state in mind. As for being "angry towards God", again, I am an atheist. I am no more angry at "God" than I am with the Tooth Fairy. To me, they are equally non-existent.

"Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make half the world fools and half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the world"- Thomas Jefferson

"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion..." - Article XI of The Treaty of Tripoli, approved by President John Adams and ratified unanimously by the Senate in 1797.

"Erecting the 'wall of separation between church and state'...is absolutely essential in a free society." - Thomas Jefferson

The reason is because they refuse to know God.

As a Christian, I know that God has always been there, even when I was not. Its as simple as asking Him, and accepting the answer He gives us.

Those who are not swayed by God however, are swayed by the forces that control this world. If you live in the flesh, you are of the world.

Mt 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

I'm an atheist, which means I do not believe any gods exist. I am not angry towards a non-existent god. Christianity is a different story.

I do not like religion. Not one bit. I feel that it stifles progress, closes minds, causes strife between peoples of varying beliefs, meddles in personal lives, causes pain and suffering, and is the only thing on this planet that has the power to create homicidal fanatics more in touch with a book than with humanity. It's not just Christianity, but any religion that preaches "my way or the highway."

Many people. either wilfully or through ignorance, have very distorted understandings of God and Christianity (and Islam and other religions of course). Given their rather rabid views, it's not surprising that they are angry! I certainly would be if I believed some of the things they do.

You also get a lot of rather extreme "believers" here who, I think, give a poor impression of Christianity.

I'm not angry at God, and I'm not angry at Christianity. I may not believe some things that are apart of the religion, but that's just me. However, sometimes the people who like to shoot their mouths off aimlessly and disrespect anothers religion pisses me off. But for the most part Christians are nice people.

Many people when they think of christians envision these insane people screaming on the street corner about the end of the world. Half the people that talk s**t about the bible and christianity have no idea what they are talking about. As for the anger thing, people love to be able to blame someone else for their problems

i don't blaspheme, i think, i say I'm god fearing,(when in trouble ask for help from god and promise anything), but don't go to church, because........? the thought of having a belief in something as Christians do, or other religions, is a really nice thought. But life takes over and injustices happen every day! when you re down on your luck you promise anything, and when your up there you always forget your promise.! religious laws can be interpreted many ways. god ,is said to give free will, he gives you the right to make the wrong choice. then we criticise belief in something who lets us die, kill etc etc. if your choice works out for you! god was on your side! too many grey areas. passions cloud judgements.

Mostly because of all the hypocrisy and lies and false teachings that King Constantine changed in the bible. It is plain to see when yo step Back. I don't mean leave Jesus I mean leave the nonsense. The Original Followers of Jesus (the Essenes) have the original teachings before king Constantine changed so many things. Google gospelofthenazirenes.com if you are a sincere Christian it will clear away all the clouds.

I am a pagan Druid. I have no problem with the teachings of Jesus. What I do have a huge problem is with those that twist the teachings to force their viewpoint or destroy non christian cultures. Those that claim to be Christian and yet speak only of hate towards Jews, Gays, and whoever else that worships the creator in another way. As I remember, Jesus was a man of peace and love, not war and hate.
