If you mean the actual destruction of the planet, it will most likely take place in a few billion years when the sun expands from decreasing mass and grows large enough to take up the entire inner solar system to beyond the orbit of Mars.

Well there is going to be nuclear wars, and an Anti Christ will emerge from Europe making everyone submit to the NWO, in which you must receive the mark of the beast to buy or sell. Then after the 3 1/2 years called the Tribulation Period Jesus will return to the Earth at the battle of Armageddon. Where all the nations come to attack Israel and wipe it of the face of the map. However Christians will be raptured out and will return with Christ and defeat the invading armies and cast the false prophet and the Anti Christ alive into hell. Then will come the millennial reign of Christ for 1000 years, and then Satan will be released for a short time and cause another war. After this the world will be destroyed by fire, and a new heaven and a new earth will come into existence.

Between the idea And the reality Between the motion And the act Falls the Shadow For Thine is the Kingdom Between the conception And the creation Between the emotion And the response Falls the Shadow Life is very long Between the desire And the spasm Between the potency And the existence Between the essence And the descent Falls the Shadow For Thine is the Kingdom For Thine is Life is For Thine is the This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends

*takes deep breath* before everything, worldwide warming will soften the earth's icecaps. the sea point will upward push dramatically, flooding completely over Europe, coasts of Asia and North usa. The water will freeze (surprisingly in Siberia), ensuing in a 2nd Ice Age. The Europeans will then declare conflict over the different countries for nutrition, and a nuclear conflict will quickly initiate after some rocket and espionage war, additionally undemanding as worldwide conflict 3. After that, the worldwide would be lined in nuclear fallout, survivors will retreat to oases and remote places to flee the dominant dictatorship of the relax unions. they're going to insurrection and initiate a guerrilla conflict which will wipe out something of humanity. Then, perchance they're going to start to rebuild, however the worldwide would be so empty of aspects that that's going to be uninhabitable, then starts a clean era of existence on Mars or the Moon.

The end of the world is not near. The rapture of the church may be near. Then there will be a seven year tribulation period, the latter three and one half years of that will be hell on earth; God's wrath poured upon a Christ-rejecting world.
After Jesus' returns, He will rule and reign for 1,000 years. It will be perfection on earth, as satan will be chained in the abyss.
Then satan will be loosed for awhile, and amazingly enough, people who were living in the millennial reign will go with satan to fight Jesus in the final battle, Armaggedon. Of course Jesus wins, satan is thrown into the lake of fire, and the earth will be destroyed in a fervant heat. There will be a new heaven and a new earth.
I don't mean to be flippant, but if you don't know Jesus....you'll want to know Him soon. I would not want to be around for any of this.

People have been convinced that the end of the world has been "near" for the last two thousand years or so... usually because of the ongoing strife in the world, in their own times. War and strife is a part of humanity as a whole, so that's hardly indictative of impending doom on a global scale.

the world, as in the earth? well, if humans don't die out in nuclear war, then we will die out when the planet is unable to sustain life. A long time after that happens, i believe that the sun will eventually die, making our solar system dark. A very, very, very, long time after that i believe that the universe will eventually shrink down so much, that all matter and enregy will eventually be compressed into a continually shrinking mass which will get smaller, and smaller until it eventually... implodes? and maybe creates a whole new universe.. who knows

Waterworld already happened.
Fire comes this time.
But, same deal "as it was in the days of Noah" People are going to keep up their rebellion until it's too late.
Some will be saved. Wouldn't you like to know you're going to make it?
The path is marked out for you...

End of the World Age..not earth itself.
Pslams..104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever *.
Pslams..78:69 And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.
