Your premise does not imply your conclusion. Consciousness has nothing to do with quantum theory. Quantum theory would imply that there is no such thing as distance or time.

Quantum theory has nothing to do with consciousness.
Quantum theory states that there is no way to measure the speed or determine the position of a particle (essentially a sub atomic particle or photons) accurately.
The reason is in order to determine the position and speed of a particle you need to 'see' it. Which could be possible only if it radiates light or reflects light. If not light, then some form of electromagnetic waves. If it has to reflect light, then something should actully focus light towards the particle. This light is a form of energy which would alter the particle's behavior.
As a result the readings you get are not the particle's but of the particle with the additional energy. Which means it is polluted reading.
It goes something on these lines. I may be off here and there as it has been a while I learnt about quantum physics in college.

It's a common and overworn metaphor about particles in quantum experiments such as Young's "double slit" experiment that particles "know" whether the other slit is opened or not. Particles don't "know", the allusion is illustrative.
From what you've put it sounds like you're condensing something that you've read, to move from the impossibility of locating a particle to its apparent "consciousness". The best quantum physicists don't fully understand quantum physics. But I can assure you that the last thing they'd do is jump from the gaps in their knowledge to an assumption of god.
And you may already know that when the Higgs particle is located... let's just say there's a reason it's also known as the God particle.

Ah, "Quantum Consciousness"? This is a type of spirituality/soul derived from the latest quantum physics and theory. I don't actually believe a word of it, but this is my "favorite" soul theory, and the if any of them are even vaguely valid then this one is.
Quantum consciousness is based on the concept that all things are interrelated and can affect each other at speeds greater than the speed of light; and that consciousness is derived from this almost-spiritual effect of information flow. There exist theories that this is the beginnings of a scientific understanding of spiritualism, mysticism and some occultism.
People can sense each other, basically as if people had souls. Additional sensory input from electromagnetic radiation caused by neuronal activity could be augmented via Quantum Consciousness to form kinds of psychic ability, extra sensory perception etc.
The quantum soul idea is derived from quantum physics, and is material in essence, even though the effect of it is spiritual. The material aspects of "Quantum Soul" control the soul itself, there is no "sky hook". Which means that souls can exist, according to this theory, and no god is required. (That's one part I like. So no, it doesn't imply a god at all.)
Those who believe in souls but not religion per se are drawn to this theory, and followers of Forteana, mysteries or the unexplained are dead excited about quantum qouls.
Most the individual elements of quantum consciousness are under dispute. For example most of the supporting maths behind the Interconnectivity of all things is doubted, dubious, with many other theories in circulation that if true do not permit quantum souls to exist.

Peculiar behavior of subatomic particles according to a set of as-yet-unknown laws of physics does not necessarily imply consciousness, anymore than did the peculiar behavior of atomic particles in the days before the most common laws of physics were formulated.

Why would the world necessarily be created by a consciousness? There's ample evidence to show that all we see could have come about without conscious intervention.

That's b/c "particles" are Rules of behavior of the natural world. Rules are non-physical but create an effect of physical reality.

Bad Sq: you're proving my point! The egg heads in school are "OLD SCHOOL". State of the Art Science in the Research field are concluding that all QM is "Rules" or "LAWS" of the universe.
They aren't committing to follow any specific religion, but I have heard Stephen Hawking say that he is convinced that Nature was created. "Someone" put the rules into existence.

so im guessing that your talking about our universe as a sort of quantum particle that maybe god has taken the time to observe. and him observeing us has created us. could be so. but im not sure if it impy's god or just something higher up then us like we are higher up then those quantum particle's. but who know eh.

I will watch on :o)
I am so hopeless at this stuff , but it fascinates me
I know what I want to say but not sure how to word it lol
so hopefully someone can
Kallan said what I wanted to
it is a collective consciousness ... which makes us the creators

How you stretched it from quantum particles to conciousness to implying the existence of God is beyond me. You might want to reread whatever it was you were trying to understand....
