Suicide is a sin against one self. But nonetheless, a sin that can be forgiven. If you are serious enough about your search for an answer to your friends dilemma, I would implore you to read this extremely interesting booklet titled... What Happens After Death? ....http://www.ucg.org/booklets/AD/

Really, it depends. Most people who commit suicide are mentally ill. The illness precludes them from being responsible for their suicides, so it is possible for somebody who commits suicide to go to heaven. On the other hand, if a person is not mentally ill, but commits suicide to, say, spite God for His gift of life, or maybe to avoid responsibility (such as going to prison for committing a crime), then the suicide might be a mortal sin. But this is a question that can only be answered by the Lord God Himself.

We don't really know what happens to people when they die; we simply have faith that something better in heaven awaits us.
The Catholic Church did teach at one point in time that people who committed suicide did not go to heaven because they were rejecting the gift of life that God gave them, however because of a shift in views and the acceptance of psychology as a science the teachings of the Church have also changed. It is now believed that those who commit suicide are forgiven.

First i'd just like to say you do have power to help them. There are hotlines you can call that give help to people in these situations you can find one by just searching on the internet. Tell her suicide is a permant solution to a temporay problem. If she won't go get help you can to ask them what they think you can do.
As to the heaven situation. I go to Catholic school and we talked about suicde in theology but only briefly. It is absolutley a sin. As to wheter yo go to heaven I'm not positive so I wrote say. My advice go see a priest I'm sure they'll be happy to help.

Suicide is a sin, but it it is a sin that has been paid for by
Jesus Christ on the cross, but that doesn't make it right. If
a person who placed their faith in Christ commits suicide
they go directly to heaven with the Lord. But and it's a big
BUT, they lose all rewards in heaven for all eternity. Death
is up to the Lord not us, His ways are perfect and He does
all things well. If they don't believe in Christ they will be in
eternal torment , hell.

You didn't say how old you are, but if you are under 21, please involve an older trusted person with this information.
The most helpful thing you can do for both of these girls is to pray frequently and honestly for both of them. I promise that God will give you guidance as to what you are to say and do in this situation. He created them and He knows what is best. Just be sure, after praying, to keep looking and listening for his guidance. Even when you're in the midst of conversation with either of them just send a little "arrow" of prayer up: "God, please be with us right now".
He is so faithful, so full of mercy and compassion and love for your friends and for all of us.
His promises are true for all of us.
Don't listen to anyone who tells you "all suicides are going to hell" or claims to know *who* is going *where*. That is only for God to judge, and we can be certain of only one thing, and that is that he is the onlyOne who can best decide this.

If they were guaranteed access to heaven then everyone would do it. There is no guarantees because there is no scientific proof of what happens in the afterlife. basically you are just taking your chances and hoping where you end up is better than the situation you are in.

Tell someone about this so you can get them help before they commit suicide.
They will go to Hell. It's a sin to commit suicide against " GOD ".

Pray about how you can help them live. That you can do. What happens after their death is that you will have to learn to live without them. That's the truth of it
