He must be, because if God were all powerful he could stop it. Either that or by his inaction he is giving tacit approval.

So God is letting Satan have fun at our expense? Think about this! That is sadistic and horrible. If you saw a child in the street getting mauled by a pit bull would you say "Let the doggie have his fun. I will stop it later"?

This goes back to the Garden of Eden. Satan made it his point that his way is better than God's way and that people should follow his way. Sure, God could have just done away with Satan, Adam, and Eve and started over again, but he's giving Satan a chance to prove himself. By doing this God is showing that mankind needs the Almighty God and that mankind is not capable of running his affairs alone, or with Satan. All of history has proven this so far.
When God finally decides that enough is enough, then he promises that he'll once and for all put an end to the misery of humanity by destroying the system we've built as well as all those that stubbornly approve it. Then comes the resurrection of all those that have died and the creation of a paradise on Earth, under the leadership of Jesus.

God plans to stop it. But he doesn't do so yet, because he is proving to Satan that there are people on the earth that will serve only the true God and not Satan. When we serve God faithfully, we give a reply to Satan, the one that taunted God and told him he could turn all mankind away from serving him.

No, No, No look this is all happening because its a sign that God is coming but don't be scared because he is STILL preparing for his coming also he is giving some time to those people who still need to believe in him, don't think that satan is powerful because he will NEVER EVER be.

Man is the cause of war, nature is the cause of disease, and overpopulation coupled with bad planning and distribution are the cause of famine--with help from nature. Neither Satan nor God are the cause of these things... the excuse, maybe, but not the cause.

God is going to stop satan. He is just letting satan have a little fun. But when it's all said and done...

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Praise the Lord!! Good will always beat evil!

In the Bible God causes wars and famines, and if He is the creator of all, then He must have created all viruses and bacteria.....including the bacteria that evolve to beat antibiotics. Oh the irony.

From what I understand, Satan is more like the angel of temptation. I've never heard that he is the sole cause of all evil.
