i just had an interview Tuesday with 4 people. I have thought of so much more i could have said especially when they asked if i had any questions. I wasn't sure what was proper for me to ask. I did ask some questions but i have been kicking my self for not asking more. I have not interviewed for 15 years. I totally relate to how you feel. I have been stressing about it and i decided if it is to be it will be, This would be my dream job and i just have to remember to breath and hope for the best. i wish you luck

Interviews are a learning experience, hindsight is always great. Review what you said and write down what you could have said better, then you are more prepared for your next interview. View it as a positive learning experience. For a note you will always have these feelings when you interview, you are on the spot, and have to make instantaneous responses. Just believe you have done the best you can, and if it is right it will happen.

I always stress out after interviews thinking if I had only said this or this then it would have went better. To me it just means that I always want to be better. I de-stress by having a drink. It calms my nerves.

I think that's just her and maybe a belief that you should exude confidence and never apologise for yourself. In my organisation we would have viewed people like that as full of BS and with a definite ego problem. Certainly when I worked in HR management I never felt negatively towards anyone who said what you said, nor did fellow interviewers - we expected people to feel nervous.

Of course it's normal. If you really did think of something to say, you can always add that tidbit of information when you send your Thank You email or phone call.

Destressing: Take a nice, long walk; listen to relaxing music; talk to a friend; remind yourself of all the reasons why you are worthy of that job...

Just take a deep breath and relax and get your mind on some thing relaxing. You can always say more, but you did your best.
