If god is all powerful and all knowing that would mean he lets horrible things happen. He has the power to stop them and doesn't. So he either can't stop them which means he is not omnipotent or he doesn't care. which is it?

Well, you won't get that answer here for sure...the fools and the bible pagans will be all over...God created man in his image; hence we are all gods and responsible for the taking care of the earth...so, god doesn't kill babies, we. as gods, are the ones doing the deed...and it is so wrong...it is human sacrifice and nothing less.

Are you talking about the babies that are starving to death in other countries and even at home, God gave people enough sense to stop breeding like flies . Are you talking about the babies that are murdered during abortions and other child abuse, God tells these people that, it is better to have a milestone around their neck and be cast into the sea then to harm one of the little ones, so believe me their day is coming and it is not going to be nice. God does not cause bad things to happen. He tells us in His Word what will happen if we do certain things and that is what happens, so don't be blaming God for something He has told us would happen. You do the crime you do the time.

This question sets up what- in logic- is called: A false dilemna. I am forced to choose between two incorrect answers based on a question that is presumed to be true when it's not.

God IS all powerful.
Go IS all loving.

God ALSO is a God of perfect justice.

He cannot create a world- give it to mankind to rule- and then seize it back when mankind does horrible things to others.

You'll hear people talk about free will and free choice. That's exactly correct. God gave free will and free choice... and whenever people use that freedom wrongly- God can't snatch away the gitfs He gave to them. It wouldn't be righteous to do that.

Even if people are unrighteous and act horribly-- God can't suddenly turn UNrighteous to overturn what man-- in his freely given gift of freewill ---on the planet he was given to rule--- had chosen to do!

God has acted to remedy mankinds crazy evil ways... but so many aren't paying attention. What more can we ask than God becoming a man and dying for our sins. You'd think people would pay attention to that? But they seem to be angry with God still... accusing Him of being unjust or unloving or uncaring. What a great and horrible evil to be willing to accuse God of such a thing.

To the writer: Do you wonder why the same God who allows the evils YOU were thinking of... why He did not smite YOU down for being willing to doubt his power or his love? That same loving God who spares you... spares all others and so the Bible declares... it's the GOODNESS of God that leads people to repentence... not being struck by lightning for making a terrible choice. I am glad you're still here to talk to- that God didn't stop you.

Do you know the saying "guns don't kill people, bullets do"? Well, God doesn't kill babies, people do. God gave people freewill, so if bad things happen it's because they had a hand in it.

You know, people seem to have the same complaints about God that the have about the government. They don't want either sticking their noses into our lives regulating everything we do, then complain when something goes badly and wonder why they weren't there sticking there noses into everything to prevent it. You can't have it both ways, people.

Humans must die off on a regular basis, and no one (not even babies) are exempt from this. You have no guarantees on how long you will live, God certainly made no promises regarding this, so why get mad about it?

Suffering and cruelty imposed by other humans far exceeds anything you can blame on God anyway. What are you doing to make the world a better place (blaming God doesn't count)?

God doesn't kill babies, people do. God allows us to suffer the consequences of our actions. God allows us to suffer adversity so that we may grow and learn from our mistakes and the mistakes of others. God exists for and through one another - if God fixed all our problems, then people wouldn't help each other. God allows us to suffer because he does care. Life isn't meant to be easy and there are no easy answers or shortcuts.

If God killed babies, then I guess your one of the lucky ones that got away, huh?
Or maybe your mother has something to do with that, perhaps she took care of herself, cared enough about her body and the baby she was carrying.

One of the reasons why your mother took care of herself was probably because God gave her freedom of will. God created your mother one unique human being, wouldn't you agree?
Thats why all of us humans are uniquely and differently created to be able to make our own choices as to whether we want to be bad or good, to love or not to love, to start a war or to make peace. (wonderful thing, free will)

If we were not created uniquely, we would be just a bunch of boring robots, all doing the same thing. Boring, Boring, Boring!!!

If God had to intervene in our affairs here on earth, he would have to revoke the gift of free will he gave to each and everyone of us, which He won't do because then we would not be the perfect creation He created. Would we?

And to be ironic, God has enough to do upstairs, and He knows that He gave us the priviledge of choice for us to be able to select appropriate people to manage our affairs down here, or did WE select appropriately?

And furthermore, if God had to stop us from doing whatever act we decided to do, how would we learn from our mistakes?

So instead of gripping about the condition we find ourselves in, perhaps we should be gripping about how we can improve the situations we find ourselves in, don't you agree?

What just being created not enough for you? now you want God to live your life for? wrap you in cotton wool so you never get a scratch? never see or experience any pain? how are you going to know bliss if youve got nothing to reference it with? You cant have a valley without a peak, you cant have life without death.....what you want is impossible. And God doesnt kill babies, human pedophiles and cluster bombs kill babies.

He has the power to stop them, and most importantly he has the power to REVERSE death. However 'these things must come to pass'. Those babies (who were not killed by God by the way) will live again. To God it will be in a blink of an eye, but to us humans with our instant gratification issues and our mortality of 70 odd years, we think this to be impossible. God keeps his promises, and none are dead, they are only 'sleeping'.

God takes them to heaven where the world can't hurt them anymore. God gave man free will, he doesn't micromanage ever thing we do. God wanted people to serve him because they choose to not because they are made to. Question why do Amercians let doctors kill babies everyday and pay them to do it, why not stop them?
